Using SPSS for Windows and Macintosh 8th Edition

I have been using Green & Salkind version of this book since the 2nd ed..My students have to use it on my graduate Statistics courses. Its easy to use and provides very good handouts and ideas on APA results sections.

Overall, this is a helpful step-by-step reference guide for using SPSS with all its functions.

I bought this book for my statistics class, little did I now, we did not use it once. But still it is required to have. Stupid college. THANK YOU FOR THE FAST DELIVERY AND GREAT PRODUCT- great condition

This book walks you through pretty well. The answers could be walked through and explained better but you get the process.

I absolutely hated my stats class, but this book simplified each process. So much so, that I managed to get an A.

Green and Salkind are SPSS masters. I used this book in a PhD-level course and it helped me a lot. Each lesson has great examples and explanations.

The book does a good job at explaining statistical concepts and steps in SPSS. However, the authors or editor failed to truly update the book. In this 7th edition, one can still find outdated terms such as "floppy disk." There are also syntactical mistakes and mismatch in some steps --this can be a turn off for some people such as myself. Given the high cost of this book, I expected the product to be of the highest standards; unfortunately, I was not impressed.Jolie

Made it in time for classes. Very good book with a lot of easy to read information on SPSS. I should have had this book for my biostatistics class.

SPSSの使い方はわかりやすい。APAでの結果のまとめ方も参考になる。しかし、前提条件を満たしていないデータサンプルが含まれていたりと初心者には混乱を招く恐れあるのではなかろうか？
