The ghreibeh (butter cookie) were a bit beaten up, as well as the mamoul, with several broken cookies — but this is because Amazon did not pack it with any padding, not because of the seller. So if you anticipate giving it as a gift, be aware. That being said, regarding the taste and texture, this is a well-priced assortment and it tastes fresh. The Barazek (sesame cookie) is not quite as crisp as it would be from a fresh bakery, but for a packed product, it is very good. The mamoul and ghreibeh have a lovely, light texture. My favorite is the pistachio mamoul with the date-filled center. It has a rich fig taste against the nutty mouthfeel of the pistachios. This assortment is a well-priced product that differentiates itself from the usual “gourmet baklava” box and provides good variety for presentation. Recommend.
