UPDATE...I wrote LampsPlus and they offered to ship me a new lamp at no charge and I didn't have to return the damaged one. I just received the new one today and it works exactly as it should. I'm so happy that I get to enjoy this lamp - it is a perfect addition to my room and provides a bright space for my craft work.---------------------------------------------So I want to love this lamp but having some issues - the switch does not turn OFF. I push the little switch up and it turns off but when I let go, it comes right back on. I've tried to push hard to see if it will click and stay in that position, but nothing works -- and I certainly don't want to break that little lever. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Bad switch or am I just not doing it correctly? Also not convinced the elbow screw will keep tight as I've already had to re-tighten five times in the few minutes that I've had it standing and on so that the lamp doesn't droop farther down than I'd like.

Great bedside lamp! Wish it were easier to turn different directions. It's in our master bedroom, and once base and angle are set, looks great. Very heavy base, not worried about it tipping over.

Perfect lamp! Easy set up and quality is sturdy and niceUPDATE: the attachment that keeps the arm in place is plastic and has snapped off with minimal force. Very sad. My lamp is useless now.

I would have given this 5 stars but the most important joint where you lock and adjust the lamp is made from very cheap plastic. Without a doubt it will eventually break.

I love, love, love this lamp! Incredible value for the price. Beautiful proportions, simple design blending in well with various styles. Sturdy enough, precisely manufactured and a breeze to put together. Incredible compact packaging as well. Couldn't be happier!!

Very cheap quality. The knob that turns the light on and off broke within 3 seconds of me unpacking it.

Cute lamp, but the pole from base to middle, would not screw in straight, it's still crooked as if right now. And it doesn't screw all the way into the base.

Great lamp! Very pretty and bright! Comes in pieces but easy to assemble.
