The drone could be a bit tempremental to start ,the battery life could be longer

I purchased the drone for my Grandson and was impressed when purchasing, that one of its functions was that it would divert away from a persons face if approaching them.My Grandson was playing with the drone as it headed towards his little sister unfortunately, drone did not divert away from her face as expected and tangled into her hair.Her hair needed to be cut to realise drone.It states that drone is suitable for children.I totally disagree. Far too dangerous!

The pics and video clearly indicate this can be used outdoors (why else would it have a camera?). The slightest breeze will carry it away without control! Useless!

The media could not be loaded. My daughter was interested in getting a drone, and having never used one before this seemed perfect as it's aimed at beginners. The drone comes presented in a rather nice padded carry case, with remote, 2 rechargable batteries, charging cable extra propeller blades, mini screwdriver and instruction booklet. Initially, setting up the drone for use with the remote is relatively simple. There are easy to follow pairing instructions in the book and after that you're ready to go. The drone lights up like a Christmas tree when it's all ready with colour changing lights. There are full flying instructions in the booklet, which if you're pretty new to drone flying you'll definitely want to read before you get going.We found that our drone seems to wander off in one direction when it should be statically hovering. It may need calibrating of some sort, which we need to look into. It's because of this that we found it a little difficult to fly at times as the drone seems to wander off.We initially had a few problems trying to figure out how to work the camera via the mobile phone app and had to resort to an online video for help. There wasn't much help for this in the manual. If you're also wondering how to do this, after downloading the app, exit and go into your phone's WiFi settings. You'll find the drone there ready to select. Once selected, open the app and you should be good to go.Battery wise, they last around 10-15 mins but you get 2 batteries in the set so you'll always have a back up at hand. Charging takes a couple of hours - there's no charging light on the battery but the cable glows red once it's fully charged.There's a few little niggles to work on, but overall it's a nice, fairly robust, lightweight and super nifty little thing. We're currently having lots of fun with it and can't wait to test it whilst on some country walks.

I’m leaving a review to help others avoid wasting money.Despite following instructions on calibration the drone would fly into walls inside. We assumed that this was because the room was too small so took outside on a still day. Pressing the one touch take off button saw the drone fly up to above the house, it didn’t respond to the remote and drifted away into some neighbouring property never to be found. As this was a Christmas present, my son was left distraught… very disappointed with this purchase as it has really ruined Christmas :(

This drone was smaller than I expected but is a good starter drone and my kids are excited to have it!It's lightweight, quite delicate but also seems quite robust too!You get 2 batteries which is handy because they don't last long. The batteries both needed charging before use. You get the leads included to charge them but you have to provide your own plug (like most things these days). I couldn't tell if the batteries were charging as there were no light so I just hoped for the best!The colour it flashes are fun and looks really good in the dark!It's a work in progress trying to control and navigate the drone by all adults and children in my house but it's been fun trying. Either this drone has a mind of it's own or I'm just not very good!It would make a great gift, currently £65.99 with a 20% of voucher attached it's not bad value for the money.When you aren't using it you can store it away in the storage case provided. This protects it from any damage so that's good.

Terrible quality would keep your money

I'm not that confident when using one of these. the last one I had didn't last long at all, apparently there are only so many crash landings you can have before it decides that it doesn't wanna play anymore. I found this one easy to control, which was daunting. It has a little joystick you can use with it, and it has a camera on board. Once you got the hang of it, it became easy to handle and control. Always make sure that you observe the laws in regard to drones. this was used on private land.
