My husband had a total labrum tear and when he was released from surgery they provided the flimsiest sling imaginable, it's shameful especially when you consider they probably billed the insurance fifty bucks for that thing. I can say that Amazon really shined for us delivering on a Sunday after ordering it at nearly midnight on Friday (surgery day).This thing is solid and very high quality, you won't feel like you're holding your arm into the sling instead of the sling holding your arm. Total security that doesn't move. You do pay for that security with it being warm, but I think it's worth it when you consider the discomfort of an unsecured arm after this type of repair. All the sewn edges are done well, there are no unpleasant edges to catch on anything and the fabric is very soft. You could wear this on bare skin and it wouldn't be uncomfortable. I bought some 3xl (to fit easily over his arm and head, (normally an XL) moisture wicking shirts for $3 each at Walmart and those are helping to counter the warmth here during the hot humid summer in the South. It's also stretchy enough to fit ice packs under it without needing to adjust it even when fit properly. It holds the packs in place very effectively as well. I can't say enough good things about this, and to think it was only twenty bucks. Easily worth triple that.Anyway, a recliner, ice packs, this wonderful support, and a good nurse will get you through any shoulder surgery, ez pz. Order it, if you don't mind being warm it'll be your best friend while you recover!

Just bought this after breaking the humerus in my right arm. Worth every cent. Great quality and very comfortable. Offers great support. If you’re in need of something like this do not hesitate to buy this one.

Not functional - runs too small.

This has saved my life...I broke my upper arm and they could not cast it. This immobilizer is perfect for taking care of my arm.

Great for anyone who can not afford pressure to the neck/spinal area. Wonderful company to deal with.
