This is a fantastic and easy to use marinade. I've only tried it on chicken. It has amazing flavor. I'll definitely keep buying this (sometimes I can find it cheaper at Target).

I'm half Thai and my mom made Larb quite frequently. I know this because it was my job to toast the rice grains in our cast iron skillet and stirring it constantly so it didn't burn, and then grinding it up with a mortar and pestle. If that sounds like hard labor you wouldn't be wrong. So I've never made this at home because I can't enlist a child to do this grueling exercise. And then I heard about Omsom's Larb starter that includes the all important toasted rice powder! It's almost everything you need in the liquid starter as well. The only thing you need is ground chicken or pork (I use pork because that's what I grew up with), and FRESH herbs (cilantro, scallion, shallot, mint). No fancy chopping needed for the herbs. The mint take the Larb to the next level but I personally feel it's not a deal breaker if you can't easily find mint at your supermarket. It is extremely easy to make thanks to the starter and like homemade Larb tastes even better the next day. It's not as good as my mom used to make but it's very good especially for not being much work.I think for some variety you could use this with thinly sliced beef (like flank steak) and make Nam Tok (Thai beef salad).

I've been obsessed with all of Omsom's sauce products and I am SO GLAD to finally see them on Amazon. The Yuzu Miso is one of my favorites and absolutely makes a meal - I recently served it to a dinner party of very picky eaters and they all asked me what the recipe was. Its super easy to just throw it on your meat, let it marinate in the fridge, and then throw the meat in a pan or in a grill. I find this one to be especially great with fish but it works really nicely with chicken too. Tasty without being greasy or heavy and with a flavor that really seeps into the dish.I can't recommend it enough - whether you are using it for a meal for yourself or a meal for a group you won't be disappointed.

No complaints here. I thought it was going to be more flavorful and taste more of miso than it did. But it had a perfectly balanced nice flavor. I can’t imagine anyone not liking it. It is amazingly difficult to find any Miso glaze type product anywhere, and I think we all want some. If it came in a nice- sized bottle instead of three larger packets? I would give it 5 stars. It’s overpriced for the amount you get, and the packets are inconvenient because maybe you don’t need an entire one or you need one and a half. An opened packet is messy and could be impossible to save for later use. Would I buy it again? As long as it’s the only one I can find? Yes.

We love this sauce. It is not spicy at all and is so tasty. Our kid gobbles up chicken thighs marinated in this and grilled on the barbecue. Amazon sends them in plastic envelopes so the thin boxes get crushed and pouches inside burst/tear. I also only had 2 months before expiry with this lot. I am going to order from Omsom directly in the future for better value and packaging.

This is my second time placing an order, my item arrive damaged. The item is ineligible for a refund which I get but to also be ineligible for a replacement?! That’s crazy. I would’ve appreciated a replacement for something that is out of my control.If you want to try this product, check out your local health food store like Whole Foods or sprouts. I have tried the spicy bulgogi, it’s delicious though expensive. I am currently on a calorie deficit and the calories fits my macro perfectly. Return policy here sucks, won’t be ordering again.

This is the first gf sauce packet I tried from Omsom, and I was pretty blown away by it. I went on to try their others, but as a pantry staple, this is the one I keep coming back to (although I recall hearing all of their sauces are now gluten free, so I'm excited to try the rest). I love going out to eat and cooking, but it's super convenient to be able to chop up some veggies and throw some meat + sauce packet onto the pan and still get restaurant quality food. Highly recommend!

I use this to make make chicken breast in my air fryer and it tastes just as good as our local Vietnamese restaurant. One question: why is the eight pack more expensive per unit than the three pack?
