Peak DesignMobile 1" Ball Adapter Mount (Locking with Integrated Vibration Dampening)

I bought this as an upgrade for my QuadLock mount. The quadlock worked fine, but it really was kind of a pain to fasten -- it was ALWAYS a minor struggle to get the wings to line up with the gaps in the mount. No complaints about its security, but it was just one more hassle to go through while getting ready to ride.Sure enough, the Peak Design mechanism is MUCH faster and easier to use. One-handed mounting every time, done in a fraction of a second. I used the quadlock for the whole riding season in 2023, and this Peak Design for the whole 2024 season... neither ever failed.The downside is that the Peak Design case for my Galaxy S21 Ultra has "sharp" edges between the sides and the back of the phone. It's very irritating on my hands if I'm using my phone for longer periods. The material is very resilient, which is great for protection but terrible when you're trying to chamfer the corners! But that's a different product... This mount is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

I use this to mount an iPhone onto my Harley. It has a built in vibration dampener to protect the phone. Attaching and removing the phone is near effortless, it just clicks into place and is held both magnetically and mechanically. I’m I’m using the Nomad / Peak Design rugged case. This replaced a Rokform mount and case as their cases don’t like my mag safe charger. So far I’m happy with it.

Nice positive lock and works great with the ram mount.

Sturdy, easy to use, it's as good as people say it is. This thing was a great accessory for me. I paired it to a ball mount arm for use in my car; I had to return it though as the arm attachment wasn't stable enough.

This really holds my phone in place. I looked at many other brands (did not try them). Base on videos I reviewed I decided to try this. So glad I did.

This works great with ram mounts for. My motorcycle and truck.

I just started to get back to street riding and wanted a new mount for my phone. First, I went with the cheap Amazon clamp mount. Those worked ok, but I wanted something better and more accessible. was going to go with the standard Quad, but saw Peak and it piqued my curiosity.I got tried both Quad and Peak Design and promptly returned the Quad once I tried both on the bike. PD has the nicest-looking case between the two, and the magnetic+lock is really easy even when moving.

This unit, or at least the one i got, is not stable, its like it has springs inside and it can move around and bounce around even if the ball joint is tight, sending back, defective junk.
