Great price, burn great
This fat wood is as good as any I’ve used, and it burns long enough to get a fire going in challenging conditions. It doesn’t light instantly, but bridges the gap between paper (or other tinder) burning out and logs igniting. Easy to split into thinner sticks, which will light easier, too.

Quality at a very reasonable price
I have been using these kindling sticks for a little over a year. As it says, you really don't need much to quickly get a fire started. We usually use three, which is far less than we needed before. Great product and quite a bit less than its competitors. Highly recommended.

I'm never using kindling again
I've had a wood stove for 2 years and wish I would have known about Fatwood, this stuff is amazing. I threw two small pieces in and had a nice fire going without the struggle I'm used to with kindling. I'll never light another fire without it!

Fatwood
At the time I purchased it, it was the best price and accurate weight upon delivery and well packaged/boxed to pull from all season long (part of the product itself, imo). Moreover, I used to harvest Fatwood myself when lived in an area it could be readily acquired - this appears as well developed and if kept correctly would have a long shelf life if one is concerned with not using this amount. I live in the north east usa and us just about this amount in a season. It, imo, is not the sole solution to starting a fire, but makes it far easier if have wet or otherwise somewhat, not well cured "firewood". If one can build a fire without this, they can certainly, quickly build one with it.I hope that helps someone.

Who woulda thought.
Never knew a product like this existed. I usually take a garbage can and walk through the woods and pick up small branches and dead wood. I have no access to wooded areas to do this. Tried out a few the other night and they are going to make starting fires a whole lot easier.
