I've been wanting to try this forever. I never see the BUILT Puff bar options in store. I really didnt want to buy a case, but recently I decided to splurge. Glad I did! I already want more, and I hope they have more flavors actually available soon. Many are unavailable :(I wanted to try them because I love chocolate covered marshmallow. I really prefer it when the marshmallow is firm and kinda chewy rather than soft. I joke that I like stale marshmallow. But man, when I get those egg cartons at Easter time that are filled with chocolate covered egg shape marshmallows, there is always a couple of "tough" ones in the bunch, and THAT is what I like. Same goes for other holiday offerings of this ilk.So I bit into this and was in heaven. It has that firm, dense chew, that tough marshmallow texture that I yearn for. If these were extra soft, I wouldnt be as impressed.This is very much actual marshmallow, and I am surprised that more "protein" bars dont utilize it. Gelatin has protein. I have made my own marshmallows before, so I may get back to that. For best utilized protein in form of collagen, we want hydrolyzed, but hydrolyzed doesnt "gel", hence we want non-hydrolyzed collagen, or "gelatin". This uses both, so both of both worlds. Also whey protein, but manages to not have a whey protein taste.The outer chocolate is ok. It isnt delicious, more of a vessel for carrying the marshmallow. Very basic "chocolate".Definitely more of a candy vibe. Never would think this was a protein bar,Very pricy though. These are small bars, maybe 4-5 bites max. I dont rate on price though--we can all see price, have different budgets, needs, preferences, and for me.. desires. lol. I just really wanted to try it, and now that I know that it is what I want texture wise, I will likely buy more. Hope to see a sale, coupon, or subscribe and save offer soon.BTW, the option I bought is coconut, and it has a light coconut flavor. I also tried these upon delivery, which was a very cold day. Not sure if the marshmallow gets softer (hope not), but if it does, then I know to enjoy these direct from fridge.

I starting buying these puff bars when a friend of mine told me about them. We were both on weight watchers at the time. I have always had a sweet tooth particularly after dinner. You can blow your day by just by giving in to unhealthy choices when the trash panda comes to life at night haha. But seriously when you are working hard to stay on track you need healthy options. I love these bars - they taste and have the consistency of a three musketeers but not all the sugar, calories and fat. They have 17 grams of protein so you don’t get the sugar high and then drop that you do with sugary snacks. And they are filling! This with a glass of water makes a meal or a great snack. I often use them as meal replacements now that I am getting older and don’t burn as many calories as I used to. My favorite flavors are brownie butter and the strawberry. They are great to keep in your purse. I wish they would come back out with apple pie - they had them as a limited edition in mini bars a few years ago and they were so yummy. A word of caution - don’t order them in the heat of the summer - they melt easily. I stock up before summer so I don’t have that problem.

We love these & Amazon has them at a remarkable price point. The low sugar concept is super helpful, and being packed with protein is a bonus. It’s not like a nature valley bar that is sugar packed, crumbly & so crunchy - think eating flavored dirt.. no, these built bars (we love all the flavors!) are moist, soft, refreshing & decently nutritious, making it even more of a delightful, worthwhile snack to have on hand. Our kids love these & we are big fans of this concept of a protein packed bar that happens to be delicious & Los sugar content. 10/10!

I love these! The coconut is my favorite. While these are not cheap, they truly satisfy my sweet tooth!My grocery store just started to sell 4-packs on sale for $9.99. DO NOT ORDER THESE TO BE DELIVERED TO ANY OF THE SOUTHWESTERN STATES DURING HOT MONTHS. They melt, shrink and get rock hard and are inedible and not returnable.

I’ve tried the coconut puff, the salted caramel puff, and now the cookies and cream puff bars, and all are excellent. Of the three, the coconut puff is the most easily found in stores and my least favorite, although I really like it. I just ordered the variety pack box at 10% off and free shipping. Look forward to tasting three flavors I have yet to try: strawberries and cream, brownie batter, and cookie dough. Variety boxes of other protein bar brands are usually lot more expensive so I was pleased to see that the built variety box was the same price as a case of a single flavor. It’s fun to share with my friends who are also on high protein, low calorie diets!Edit 9/17/25: The brownie batter flavor is nasty. Blek 🤮! The strawberry flavor is not for me, either. Don’t get me started in the new sour flavor puff bars. They are just awful! The cookie dough flavor is 5 star, though, and the mint is pretty darn good - 4 star.

I've ordered several boxes of these Puff Bars in different flavors over the last 3-4 months, in addition to buying them individually from a couple of local stores (when they're not sold out!). I love them.They're convenient, have a nice dose of protein, and satisfy my sweet tooth. Plus the chewy texture is satisfying in its own right.I've had the four shown in my photo, plus Cookie Dough Chunk, and Coconut.They all taste great. I would describe the texture as a bit more dense than marshmallow and more like Japanese mochi (for those who are familiar with that).Shipping from Utah to me in California has been great. They arrived 5-7 days after placing my order.Yes they've been melted, but like the instruction label they put on the box recommends, I put the entire box in the fridge for an hour and they come out fine - no difference in quality, flavor, or texture.The wrapper is often stuck to the bar after that, but I just tug on it in a few spots and it separates cleanly from the bar.
