tool keg!
great product and easy to install. I wish it was a little bit smaller, as it is as large as a typical water bottle.

tl;dr : Gimmicky tool keg that ultimately does not do what it claims, mainly stay on your bike in real world conditions.
I bought this keg here on Amazon, and it arrived sooner than I had thought it would. I installed the pegs on the underside of the downtube as per the manufacturers directions, and put the keg on it. It does seal with a sort of "snap" feel to it. I put my bike on the ground, and gently kicked the empty tool keg with my foot, and it unceremoniously popped off the studs and landed on my garage floor. So I tightened the studs, as per manufacturer suggestion. And it felt looser the second time.I figured that this might be because I hadn't put any WEIGHT in it, so I loaded it down with a normal repair kit load (multitool, tire repair kit, tire levers and tube.) I went out for a ride on a paved cycling trail that has SOME road chatter, but nothing I would consider harsh. The keg fell off somewhere in the first 5 miles. No idea where, because I was busy pedaling and I never heard the keg hit the ground. I went back to look for it, but it's a black keg with no markings along a woodland trail on black pavement with muddy embankments. It's just gone. And so are about $120 in various tools and kits.I'm going to guess that the company line is that it's not designed for the UNDERSIDE of the down tube, but that's where most endurance riders will put it so they don't lose an in-frame bottle cage to this product. I will admit that the keg is very spacious, it fit a lot more than you would think in there. It seemed water tight for rain, with no gasket on the lid I wouldn't trust it to anything more. And it looked VERY clean on the bike with no straps or cage around it. But in real world conditions it's useless. So my advice is to just avoid this product. It's a gimmick that will cost you a lot more than the current $20 price tag.

Not ready for prime time
I installed this per manufacturer's specs on top of my down tube and waited six months before posting a review based on my experience. The bottom line is that it does not do what it's supposed to do. As soon as I hit a chunky section of trail, off it goes. I have had it handed back to me multiple times by friends who were following me and found it. But today was the last straw. Not only did it fall off again, this time the lid came off, letting the contents fly all over the place. Fortunately, it was my wife who found it this time and she was able to track down all of the contents scattered in the brush. At least I got everything back, unlike other reviewers. I took this thing off when I got back from today's ride and replaced it with the proper bottle cage and and Co-op tool keg I had on my bike before.

Deceptively small
Nice for what it is. However, less storage than what there should seem to be due to the way it mounts to the bike.

Clean and minimal
I love how clean and minimal this looks on my bike. I can fit a tube, multitool, tire levers, C02 canister, plus some money (if I have any), credit card and ID in the tool keg. Not much room left after that. I have mine on my down tube and haven't had any issues with it over the past 500 miles.I wish they made an all black insulated all black water bottle to match it..
