I use it for the bottom of my various pots to keep the weight down, for better flow of water to the drain holes.

I have a gangly 7 foot tall rubber plant gifted from a friend that I want to propagate into several smaller plants. Several YouTube vids suggested clay balls will grow roots faster than perlite beads or plain water in a jar, so I wanted a smaller amount to give it a try.I was concerned that multiple reviewers reported receiving packages with less clay balls than advertised, or preciously opened and obviously resealed. But, as photo shows, my package weighed more than advertised.

This is a must plant parents bcuz the benefit of healthy roots for our plants is a must. This is just great all around. I use it in all my plant that I must buy more. I must be ready every i repot my babies. I highly recommend this to all plant patents……. It’s a must !!!!! Thnx!!!!

The 18 lb. Box filled 3x's = 6" pots and 4 x's = 9" x 16" humidity trays!!! Wow! Also, marble sized expanded clay is large enough so it doesn't fall out of the holes in orchid pottery!

Deceptive. Missing 3lbs of the 11lbs advertised. Reshipment missing 2.5lbs-3lbs too.
