These work great. Really good product for the price. I have them on all my trailers.They hold up to the elements well and I’ve never had issues with them freezing up during the Alaskan winters.I accidentally lost the keys to one and had to cut it off with a grinder wheel. Took me about 15 seconds to cut through it but there’s not many tongue locks out there that can withstand a grinder and certainly none for this price. I doubt a bolt cutter could make it through without serious effort.Having a big yellow lock on the front of your trailer is definitely a good deterrent.

Works great, firm hold and I feel protected

This is a decent hitch lock. Keep in mind all of these ball style hitch locks can be broken with a hammer fairly easily. So it isn’t 100% secure (as with any lock) it’s a deterrent. That being said this locks seems to be well made and locks.

Works wanderful just what I need to lock my trailer hitch

This is a quality trailer lock at a great price. Bring yellow so it can be seen from a distance to deture wold be thieves. Fit my trailer perfectly. I am very pleased with this lock.

This trailer coupler lock gives me peace of mind when we’re on vacation and have to leave the trailer parked somewhere. It feels durable and well made, and it definitely makes it harder for anyone to do a quick snatch-and-grab.Sure, with enough time and heavy-duty tools like a blow torch, someone could probably get it off — but that’s true for just about any lock. The point is, it adds a strong layer of deterrence and makes it much less convenient for anyone trying to steal a trailer. For our needs, it does exactly what we hoped. I will update this review if anything changes!

I've had many of these before and they work great, but this one isn't working so well for my application. The ball is tinier than the ones I had before... so small, that on my standard travel trailer coupler (2 5/16th ball size) it just falls out, even with the ball latch engaged. That would be a bit annoying, but okay since the U-bar would hold it in place, but in my case (Grand Design trailer using standard Lippert components) the U-bolt is a millimeter or two too narrow to fit over the coupler! I could probably force it or bang on my coupler with a hammer s bit, but I shouldn't have to. Sadly, the page description doesn't state the size of the lock or what ball size it's best for, but mine ain't it.
