The product does exactly what it should, be sure you put the bottom of the shaper into the heel of the boot.

These are actually great. I try and buy one pair of tall boots every year. The bigger bulkier type of inserts take up a lot of room if I’m wearing a lot of boots and don’t take the time to reinsert the inserts each time I change. But these stack neatly, take up no space when pulled out of the boots, and do a great job of holding the boots up and formed when inserted.
