Will this spring compressor fit my vehicle?

This spring compressor fits a wide range of MacPherson strut springs within the specified jaw capacity and bracket adjustment range. Before purchasing, compare your spring dimensions with the product specifications to ensure compatibility.

How do I properly position the jaws on the spring?

Position the jaws securely on opposite sides of the spring and ensure they are fully seated before tightening. Proper jaw placement helps keep the spring stable during compression.

How do I keep both spring compressors aligned during use?

Adjust the fixed bracket to fit the spring and make sure both spring compressors remain parallel before tightening the adjuster bolts.

What size socket or wrench should I use?

Use a 19 mm socket or wrench to operate the adjuster bolts, as shown in the product instructions. Do not use power tools, such as an impact wrench, to tighten the adjuster bolts.

Why is it important to keep both spring compressors parallel?

Keeping both spring compressors parallel helps ensure even compression. Before tightening the adjuster bolts, adjust the fixed bracket so both arms remain parallel, as shown in the product instructions.
