It's a good chair, but there are a few downsides.
I searched for a very long time for a chair. I am just shy of 6'1, but not carrying any "extra weight" at 190 lbs fairly lean, instead somewhat wide shoulders & elbows from working out (lats push them out a bit) and have found "big and tall" to be the only comfortable option in computer chairs.I was incredibly nervous unboxing this chair to find numerous imperfections on the metal pieces and some damage on one of the slots on the bottom on the backrest that slide onto the "rails" I will call them before being mounted in place. Thankfully, it did not end up affecting the end quality of how thing went together, but this kind of really sloppy work did not instill confidence. All screws tightened in the chair, but only 3/4 all of the way, and one is half or 2/3. It's enough though, no doubt. Would be easy if the Chinese employees even pretended to care instead ramming this stuff together as other have commented....After a few weeks of 50+ hours a week, I can say this is the most comfortable long-session computer chair I have used, although it is also the most expensive. For me in particular the self-adjusting lumbar support is no joke - it works fantastic and I find it to be very natural to maintain natural or mostly natural positions throughout the day. I have neck/low back problems, and then chair helped TREMENDOUSLY even after the very first work day. The seat is slightly firm and I swith between a memory foam cotton seat & nothing, but it's great and I would not want it any lighter or it would A) not last and B) not support properly. There is no weird angled upward lip at the end of the seat that puts pressure on your hamstrings causing discomfort - no clue why most chairs have that! The adjustability is VERY VERY good. The exact amount of total seat tilt back you want with very precise choices allowing you to "lean back" a bit or a lot super easy for work or play, the degree of the backrest tilt (not just in a few "Stages" but in very accurate small adjustable increments!) is more than what the images indicate in terms of up/down with the seat as well. It's a big reason I like the chair as much as I do.I have not run into the odor problem comments from another has stated, but I also am not really a guy who eats poorly and farts constantly. Lol. I also don't have stinky gamer room. The armrests are PERFECT. 4D adjustment as they say, and moving around 1-2x per day prevents probably 80% of the shoulder and arm pain I was getting with fixed positions armrests even with cushions. I don't even need cushions with these, and they are not soft. Plenty of adjustability up & down, side to side, back and forth, and they twist to face forward/to either side on top. Using a footrest (just foam pillow with adjustable size - not included ofc) and adjusting up/down here and there, along with arm position changes, has just eliminated 80-90% of the pain in hands/wrists/arms/shoulder/traps associated with extended sitting in my mid tier smaller chair. Substantial neck improvements too.CRITICISM: The location of the neck pillow makes zero sense. I had to cut the strap, and sew on some additional material so I could tie it through the holes you see in the top of the chair below the peak of the headrest. Mind you, I am just shy of 6'1. You will need to be 6'3 or more (or just super long torso) to actually use the (quite nice) memory cotton pillow cushion that is included. They should have just made it adjustable with a simple adjustable 3 prong plastic clip (or Velcro) so the user could place the headrest where they want. That being said, tied and hanging at or just a touch below the 2 openings on the back of the chair puts it in a perfect position and it's very comfortable. I just dislike having to take it on/off.The wheels are kind of sharp and clearly not safe for sensitive wood floors you may care about. Not as bad as cheap chairs, but still. Replace with roller blade style gel/hard rubber upgrade wheel for around $15 to $18 tops - don't get conned with $30 sets. You can get them from China sites for $10-12 USD if you have the patience to wait. Same wheels. All in all it's a great chair, but I don't understand why it costs so much. I paid $469 pre-tax. You would think the components would be more carefully constructed at this price, but I can at least say the FUNCTION is great and the few sharp bits of metal I was able to get off pretty easily so as not to poke myself. The construction is still solid, and material quality reasonably high.Unless you can find something for much cheaper, I am definitely able to recommend this chair. You have to spend several hundred more on a Titan to get one that actually looks as good.... it seems these "gaming" big/tall office chairs are just plain expensive period at the high-mid end. If you have the money, and sit a lot, you are unlikely to regret this chair so long as you are minimum 5'11 tall (a little more even better) or and don't exceed weight limit.Make sure its AMAZON PRIME so you have protections in case of a damaged part or something. Good luck all :)

THE Chair for Long Gaming Sessions and Office Work
I just received my chair today and it is a chair well spent. I have been using a cheap office chair whenever I game on my PC/PS5 and been doing number on my back. This chair is supporting my lumbar and butt with enough cushioning that it doesn’t ache anymore. Assembling the chair wasn’t so hard that they did provide instructions on how to build it and lay out the tools for each step. Compared to the racing line, I got the step up from them that supports for big and tall (since I weigh more than 280lbs). It has a nice sleek appearance that matches with my PC and stable enough that it does rock much when I lean back with it. Fair warning though, the smaller versions of this chair might be cheaper, but it’s better to find the right size and specs for yourself.

Bad customer service
Two stars because the chair looks nice and is well built but is alot stiffer than I thought it would be, its really not that comfortable, especially if you like to recline when gaming. The biggest issue is the added top rgb light kit that never seemed to hold a charge well and stopped charging completely about 9 months after purchase, that and it requires bloatware software to change the colors of lights. You think it would have a couple of presets built in at least. I tried calling customer service no one ever picks up the phone. E- mailed and got a response was told to fill out a form and send it back. Its been over a month now and still no response. Will update if a ever get a response. 700 + dollars for the chair and defective light kit. Disappointed to say the least.

Most confortable/ergonomic chair I've ever had
After an extensive search, I finally settled on the Vertagear 4800 model, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. This chair embodies perfection in ergonomics, providing an ideal balance that ensures both comfort and support. The lumbar support, in particular, stands out as exceptional, offering unparalleled relief. Sitting in it feels like a dream – my bottom is cradled in comfort.I can't express how thrilled I am with my decision. The improvement this chair has brought to my daily comfort is truly impressive. Highly recommended!

Ok quality, but 2 major flaws for my chair
So I got the black and white on the edges version. The first major flaw I found out about 3 months into ownership. My clothes were actually staining the white part of the chair. So my white part is now a blueish color. Second part major flaw is the materials used for this chair. While the technology weaved into the materials is supposed to help with keeping the chair from not absorbing your odors (farts, sweat, animal smells, etc) in real world testing, this does not do a good job with this. It absorbs just about anything from sweat, farts, food smells, animal smells and locks it in.Those 2 negative things aside, this is not a bad chair, very adjustable, relatively comfortable. I’m a husky guy at 5’10” 250 and I fit comfortably in the chair. I got the chair because my Titan Evo 2020 seat was pretty uncomfortable after several hours of use. While this chair is better, it’s only nominally better IMO. It could be my posture potentially, who knows, but this chair wasn’t much more comfortable.Overall:I do recommend it. I wouldn’t recommend getting any of the colored accents and maybe stick with black to avoid the staining of the chair. And be cautious with sweating or farting in the chair. As silly as that sounds, the smells really do stick into the chair.
