Works good for protection from rocks
Used for Bronco fenders. Just be careful when getting hand washed it bubbled up some from the washers.

Perfect for small projects
Some peace of mind for the lip of my tailgate, which was already starting to get scratched up. Depending on what you are doing I highly recommend making a masking tape template and precutting it rather than trying to cut on your vehicle. I have tried knifeless tape but the results were poor without scoring the film anyways. The PPF is difficult to spot on blue-gray. No significant issues with it stretching.

Used on headlights
Works on headlights ok. Will conform and stretch as needed for contoured headlights, but, still had 2 or 3 small bubbles that appeared even when I started in the center with the enclosed rubber spreader and worked toward the outside of the headlight. Used distilled water and a tad amount of liquid dish soap and along the edges as needed to help the film stick better I used iso alcohol and water. Overall the headlights look pretty good. Use caution if you partially peel up the film after you squeegee it down for that can leave a visible line showing in the film. Just trying to minimize the typical crazing and hazing you get as headlights age. I polished the headlights like new so time will tell if this film helps maintain clarity or not?

Amazing product!
Easy application, no issues. Adhesion was amazing. Applicator (sponge) worked perfectly.

Good for DYI
For DYI it was a medium difficulty. It is not 100 percent perfect but it got the job done covering a piece of the hood prone to rock chips. Recommend going xpel route than the other brands like vivid.

model Y This ppf worked for the back doors and pillars only.
The 84" was just enough to do the model y rear door handles, a small section on top of the handle where you grab to open/pull the door open, and the pillars you step over in the rear, not enough for the front too so get two of them if that's the goal. It looks clean but don't do what I do and use tack solution (use only slip solution) when trying to stretch the material over curves Lol. Some people say 4 pumps per bottle, its more like 30 small drops of baby shampoo to distilled water for 64 oz.

Great Protection—But Don’t Expect It to Stop Hailstorms!
I bought the XPEL Paint Protection Film to shield my shiny new truck from the daily onslaught of road debris, scratches, and dings. Application was straightforward, and the film is practically invisible once installed. It does an amazing job protecting against rock chips and keeps my paint looking factory fresh. But, as I recently discovered, it won’t save you from Mother Nature’s wrath. A hailstorm rolled through last week, and while my paint is still pristine, my truck now looks like a golf ball. Lesson learned: XPEL doesn’t claim to make your vehicle bulletproof—or hail-proof, for that matter. All jokes aside, this product is fantastic for its intended purpose. Just don’t expect it to be your truck’s superhero in a weather apocalypse. Highly recommend for keeping everyday wear and tear at bay!

Imperfections in the film
The 60" roll I purchased has imperfections in the film which would have been seen on the finished product had I used it. Seems Xpel's quality control is in question. The imperfections were raised areas in the film. Most likely caused by a contaminated environment during the manufacturing process. Before you use your film, be sure to roll it out and look for these imperfections. If its not like glass, it will transfer on to our item being covered.
