A great book to have

Iceberg Slim is a great story teller. His stories are told in vivid detail and his vocabulary is phenomenal. Iceberg has the ability to keep the attention of his audience line for line and chapter by chapter to the end of the book.

Okay, Iceberg Slim was a prodigoiusly talented writer. In this book, he discovers the Black Panther and black pride. It has to be pointed out to him that Slim spent the first half of his life beating up black women and living high off their labors as prostitutes. Slim never exactly addresses the point. He could have made an honest living but he chose to exploit black women. But he finds vicarious redemption through the Panthers.
