Logitech G Astro A30 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset, PS5 - White

I've owned A10s and A40s for years but never had made the jump to wireless until now. The great thing about this headset is that I've had no connection issues, quality of both the build and the sound is phenomenal (even with the little tuning that is available), and the ability to jump between my phone laptop and ps5 without a click of a button is the real icing on the cake. I am a huge Star Wars fan and luckily had my A10s of nearly 6 years die out on me to warrant this purchase! Pros: Great battery life (1 charge for 7-10 days of usage) Great audio quality Excellent Design and fun details throughout the headset Compact case allows for a small footprint when travelling Cons: Price is a little high for comparable headsets (the Star Wars name isn't cheap) The audio cable for wired playability has no controls other than mute, which most controllers/phones/laptops already have.

Feels great. Mic sounds great(tho a tad sensitive side),both boonless and bones. Connects well. The ear cushions feel great and are easy enough to replace if needed. I play various games on the PS5, and in games like Apex Legends(and various cods) where audio is normally not there(iykyk), it actually does pick up quite a bit more than you'd expect. The only I guess downside is it's bass isn't real heavy, but, what it slightly lacks in bass, it makes up for overall clarity. Oh, and very rarely, it does have problems registering the mic is on. Overall, I do think it's worth the price point,tho I won't lie; my a10' and a30's seemed sound wise better for bass.

Great sound and mic as you would expect from Astro/Logitech. The device itself is well made and looks fantastic while also being extremely comfortable. This headset does not work with the GHUB pc app which to me is a plus as I greatly prefer the app on my phone. Wish it came with ear pads that weren’t leather but that’s easy enough to remedy,

Absolutely fell in love with this headset. From the sound quality, the build quality, and design quality. With the ability to hear from bluetooth, USB dongle, and 3.5mm has been very helpful. I nearly use this headset 24hrs, at work and while at home gaming and reviewing recordings. The battery life is just wonderful and will easily last most all week long. Along with some magnet ear tags and ear pads is great for adding your own style to it. I have zero issues with it suddenly turning off unless it went into it sleep state which is mentioned that it has. This has only happened while I was not using it for extended periods of time. The only issue that me and many others have is, all extra feature must be controlled through the phone app and not with Ghub. Yes I did get after market ear pads, as the stock get hot rather quick.

I'm going to start off with the two redeeming qualities of this headset before I get to the many reasons I will be returning it. The sound quality despite it not having surround sound capabilities is very nice and it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (10+hrs). Now, the microphone is extremely quiet and even with software to add gain and the device volume on my PC turned all the way up people still have trouble hearing me and sometimes the bug that makes you louder after you mute and unmute is enough for me to be able to communicate and sometimes it isn't. The boom microphone's position doesn't stay in one place when set and requires constantly being moved so it doesn't sit on your face or at least directly under your nose. You'd think that having an app on your phone for fine tuning wouldn't be bad but not having the option for PC also just adds extra problems when the headset just decides to disconnect from your phone (which no other blue-tooth device that I own does) OR your microphone just randomly mutes itself with no reliable way to unmute it. Muting itself is rare but still unacceptable and not only does it mute but also randomly stops making sound while still being turned on and sending a microphone signal AND if you think turning it on and back off again will solve it as it does with a lot of things SOMETIMES IT WON'T TURN OFF OR BACK ON and sometimes when you unplug the USB and plug it back in the microphone still won't work and I don't mean not work for specific programs I mean in windows devices where it only shows up because it is connected there will be no sound level for the microphone and I've yelled directly into it just to be sure it wasn't just so low it wasn't picking it up. Those are the reasons I am returning this headset but they aren't even the only problems, just the ones that make it unusable and unreliable on a constant basis and when reaching out to Amazon I was told to contact Astro and Astro has not sent a single email about it other than the automated email confirming that the support ticket had been made and I have waited twice the amount of time that they claim to respond in and there has been no mention of higher than usual requests to let anyone know that their response time may take longer. The other problems are that it isn't surround sound which I'd expect from a headset this expensive, while using the microphone on my phone it won't be usable on my PC, a bug that decreases the headsets volume a large amount when changing the volume on my phone up or down but increases the volume by the same large amount when changing the volume directly on the headset so you need to play with changing them both for your desired volume which is really annoying to do when answering calls, and the loud sounds it makes when it turns on, off, connects, or disconnects from anything that you can't control the volume of but when the battery levels are low (rare as that may be) the sound indicating that isn't as loud, and the range for both blue-tooth and USB connection could stand to be a bit longer but that is probably the least of complaints to have with the plethora of problems above.

Works great majority of the time the mic likes to glitch and not work with the ps5 sometime so you have to power cycle the headset until it works. This is my second pair.

I have been using these headphones almost everyday for the last 3 months and wanted to give others some insight before spending so much on a pair of headphones. Sound Quality: 8.5/10 - The sound quality of this headset is by far the best feature. Videogames and music both sound great, and I enjoy that there are some presets/customization in the Logitech app that you need to download for EQ settings. Comfort: 7/10 - You can expect to wear these headphones comfortably for hours. I personally wear glasses, and I notice that after a few hours of the headset against my ears, it will cause some discomfort. If you wear glasses all the time it may be better to find a headset with thicker padding. Easy to use: 6/10 - If all goes well this headset is very easy to use. You download the Logitech app on your phone and plug the usb into your pc or console and you should be good to go (make sure the usb is set to the correct mode for pc or console). However I have run into some major bugs that can be very frustrating and have lowered the rating in this category. The biggest issue I have run into is getting the mic to register. Sometimes it works fine, other times I have to try to trouble shoot and unplug the usb, sometimes it changes from pc to console mode, sometimes changing the noise gate settings in the app seemed to work...ect. Should not be an issue and for the price is way to buggy. Hopefully they work great for you or something else will be a better fit!

The simply issue that you can you it with your phone and a gaming console or pc does it for me. It also has a built in mic. It is not surround sound. But it sounds great.
