Sloppy Workmanship
They did not bother to clean up after their weld. In order to get these to lie flush on my boat seat, I had to grind off the welding slop.

Direct replacement
I ordered one for the front and rear because the threaded posts were rusted in place and could not be removed. These worked perfectly. The only issue is you have to match the size and number of holes exactly so that you don't have to drill new holes in the boat deck. I now have non-threaded posts and they are easy to remove and do not wobble; at least not yet. I've only had them installed for four fishing trips, but so far, so good.

Well made product
Well made. Very sturdy. Requires a hole saw to cut hole large enough to fit the welds holding the post. Only change I would recommend is using a bronze bushing instead of poly. Would buy again.

Stating to rust after a month
I use this on my boat in salt water and wash it down after every use. I noticed today this is starting to rust and is suppose to be resistant to rust
