Fender 500K, Split Shaft Potentiometer for Volume or Tone

Reliable Upgrade for Tone and Volume ControlI installed this Fender 500K split shaft potentiometer in my guitar, and it has significantly improved my playing experience. Worked great for upgrading a BC Rich. Had to open up the holes in the guitar slightly to install. You’ll need universal or 24 spline knobs to fit them.

These are comparable to CTS pots. And way cheaper. You cant go wrong. But if you are upgrading a guitar you may need to use a T-handel reamer to make these fit.

I've purchased a lot of the finder pot they good pots, they are good quality pots.

I used these potentiometers to upgrade an import Les Paul copy. My main issue was with the installation process. I had to enlarge the holes on the guitar in order for them to fit. Additionally, I cannot find knobs to fit these pots! The only knobs in my collection that would fit were some genuine Fender Stratocaster knobs that I bought to replace the knobs on a Squier Strat. Even the old Squier knobs that I had saved would not fit on these pots. I also had a similar problem as other customers where the tiny tabs came undone when I tried to fit knobs and I had to put the pot back together. I was even supporting the pot from the back to try and keep it from happening.Despite the bad, once I got them installed, they are a major upgrade. I do think they improved the overall sound of my cheap guitar. The current price on Amazon is also great. Now, I just need to purchase genuine Fender knobs to go on the genuine Fender pots.

It does its job. Buying it online with Amazon and the Seller I chose very inexpensive.

These are CTS pots in Fender packing, CTS pots are used in most guitars, 500k is usually used for humbuckers, I used these as a replacement for the ones in my Epiphone Les Paul.
