Making raw wood look fantastic
It was easy to use, the color is great and luster is pretty. So far water beads on top- looks like good waterproof

Don't do it. Will not refund your money!
Received my stain. The can was all dented in. The box has no damage so the stain was sent that way. I read the instructions carefully. I am a carpenters daughter. I will never buy stain and poly mixed again. Took forever to dry. Finish did not match. Not a smooth finish. They will not refund my money. No help from Amazon. I think the ad should state no refunds.

Varathane has been a good product, and I've used it for the past 40 or 50 years. Description of this particular item is not consistent with instructions on the can. The can notes that this is not for outdoor use or on floors... not what the ad on Amazon says. Apparently Rustoleum has purchased the Varathane brand and there are fewer colored products available now. Depending on how this holds up, I'll post an updated review in the future. 4 stars because of inaccurate description on the site and because of the uncertainty regarding the apparent transfer of ownership.

Works great.
Some spots I had to put more than one coat but that's normal. Make sure you stir it before use to prevent spots from not matching gloss wise. It is also humid right now and this wall is in a room with out ac so it took a little longer to dry but that is the humidity not the product. Overall great product.

Easy to apply but has a glossier finish than I would have liked
I refinished a buffet and stripped the top down to bare wood. I didn’t want a matte finish and also did not want it to be too shiny so I got a Satin finish and it’s still kind of shiny to me. Otherwise- beautiful color
