Yes these are great scissors/shears. They are heavy duty and competively priced. They are useful for cutting various materials. There is a blade protector for the bigger pair. A good sharpness to both pair and very sturdy. A useful purchase.

Why difficult, well on opening the package it was obvious they were reruns, not ‘new’. The product box was torn and so was the plastic packaging. The scissors were also watermarked and the handles sticky. So not impressed. Gave them a wash to try them. Wow, these scissors are amazing they cut effortlessly through everything I’ve tried, I even cut through the lid of the tin of peas I just opened. The small ones are sharp but not as stable and the handles are a bit too small for my large fingers. I was going to send them back and reorder but wanted to use them now. For a bit more than a high st coffee these are well worth it. They cleaned up ok so 3 stars to Amazon for sending used item. 5 stars for the scissors.

My wife complained about a brand new pair of scissors she bought from a major supermarket. She needed them to cut the fins off a sea bass. This tempted me to look on Amazon. She could not believe how sharp, sturdy and precise these scissors are!! For me, they were a very reasonable price as well. Also very impressed by the different designs these scissors have, and the small pair were ideal to cut an inch off a pair of working trousers as well.

Good kitchen scissors which are comfortable to hold and use for both the wife’s smaller and my larger hand. Handy safety cover that is easy to attach and detach. Sharp blades have cut with ease through a range of kitchen needs. Scissors remained sharp and intact in the few weeks we have had them. Bottle opener facility proved useful. The free pair of smaller scissors also work well and proved useful. In the short time since we purchased am pleased to recommend the scissor set as a cost effective purchase.

Good purchase, two useful pairs of scissors. The larger is not as sharp and strong as it appears.I wanted something strong for my husband whose hands are weakened.
