It took a long time to dry during the first wash, but turning it over a few times helped. It was soft and warm, and very thick but thin enough to be a mat rather than a pillow. Very good texture. My large cat really liked it.

I got two of these to put inside kitty's living room bed and bedroom bed; in the winter, she spends nearly all her time in the one in the living room; she ignores the one in the bedroom and still prefers curling up by my side at nite. But I'm keeping both -- the mat keeps her very warm -- when she gets up, both she and the bed are pretty warm.. the mats seem to work very well, come in a nice choice of sizes, and are very soft.. It would be nice if they came in oval as well as rectangles. I recommend..

I ACTUALLY USED IT FOR A MAT FOR MY ROCKING CHAIR. JUST RIGHT...NOT TOO SOFT, NOT TOO HARD NOT TOO WARM. AND WASHING MACHINE FRIENDLY.

Literally delivered 15 minutes ago, and Manny has already snoozing on this self-heating pad. I’m surprised that the material that creates the self-heating feature isn’t that crinkly—typically, that material sounds exactly like those aluminum, emergency blankets, but the material for this pad is a lot softer and doesn’t make that crinkle sound. I double checked that the pad is self-heating by sitting on it for a couple of minutes, and the pad started retaining heat right away. Granted I was pushed off within 10 minutes so mister Man could test it out and he loves it.Haven’t tried washing it yet since we literally just got it out of the box, but it seems to be made out of good materials and should handle a gentle wash—not sure about the dryer, but we’ll see soon enough.

I thought this was a great product, and it may have been when our dog used it in the cold weather spirts. But he tore it up, and dragged it through the yard. So now it's no more : ( Lasted about a month before he got the bright idea to tear it up. Wish it was bite proof : \

It is nice and soft, really works well. Put your hand on it and in moments you can feel your own heat being reflected back. It took my cat several days before she understood it, niw she gets it!

I bought this self-warming mat for my outdoor feral cat friend, to go inside of his little house I purchased for him, which is on my porch. I got sad seeing him night after night, in the cold, on my bare porch, trying to shelter himself from the elements, so I bought him a weatherproof house and this mat to go inside it to keep him warm and toasty. He began using it from the very first day I brought it out to him and has been using it every single day/night since. No matter where he goes during the day on his "catventures", he always comes back to that little house on the porch. He also knows when to turn up for feeding time. Ever since I got him his new home with this mat, he's the absolute chattiest cat I've ever seen, it is so cute. Even goes out of his way to escort me from my front door to the end of my yard when I go and come from work each day. I'm just happy he can be warm and safe. I can't have him inside because pets are not allowed, but I figured why not make him feel as comfortable and welcomed as possible by putting out food and some shelter.He's in there now, all loafed up and ready to go to sleep for the night. I'm happy I could do something nice for for the guy. :)

Wir haben zwei Decken für unsere kleine Hündin bestellt. Die Decken sind kuschelig weich und warm. Eine hat sie jetzt über den Winter in ihrem Schlafkörbchen und eine an ihrem Stammplatz auf der Couch. Wir haben den Eindruck die Decken werden gemocht :-) Ich würde mich manchmal gerne selbst hinein kuscheln! Lassen sich problemlos bei 30° waschen. Allerdings aufgrund der Größe eher für Welpen und kleinere Hunde geeignet.

This blanket is just gorgeous! My daughter was jealous of the dog & now I need to buy another. I bought the large , so shame they don't do an extra large.I washed it when it arrived as I don't like any smell of packaging, but it actually wasn't too bad. It washed up beautifully & it's just so fluffy & warm & the dog loves it!
