Cashmere Mist Deodorant

I am absolutely in love with this deodorant! I was looking for a high-quality aluminum-free option, and Donna Karan Cashmere Mist completely delivered. Not only does it have that iconic, beautifully subtle cashmere scent, but it actually works. It keeps me feeling completely fresh all day long without any irritation. If you want a luxurious everyday routine that holds up from morning until night, this is it. Worth every single penny!

I don’t know why most of the reviews are saying this smells like baby powder. It absolutely does not. I HATE baby powder scents, especially as fragrances. This deodorant smells AMAZING. And this means a lot coming from me as I am very particular when it comes to fragrances and I am a gourmand wearer. Not a very gourmand-y scent but smells very, VERY good and layers well with my gourmand scents. Isn’t loud or “grandma” smelling like some say. I purchased the aluminum free version. Never have used the original so I wouldn’t know if there’s much of a difference between the two, just happy that there is no aluminum because aluminum flares my HS. The scent is protruding and very noticeable imo, but is not strong, and in a ways, subtle. I believe it depends on your body chemistry.. if it stinks on you.. you probably should drink more water or obtain a better diet..or purchase a scent that works better with how you naturally smell. Just like with perfume. Did not burn, did not cause a reaction and I have sensitive skin. Does not itch, is not sticky. I’m not much of an under arm sweater so I believe this will last very long for me. I often use aluminum free deodorants and have for years, no issues. Not sure if it stains. I wore a light colored shirt after using. Will update if it stains my dark colored clothing. I stepped away from roll on deodorant and have been using Dove 0% aerosol deodorant but I think I am now denouncing Dove lol. Do not hesitate. BUY IT!!

I ordered from this seller specifically because it said next day delivery, so I ordered it, left my apartment to go have lunch with my son, and when he dropped me back off at my apartment a few hours later, the package was already delivered! I really love this deodorant, has a lovely scent that last long time. I honestly don't use any perfume at all when I use this because of its long-lasting and great scent. I tried it the first time 20 years ago and loved it - I've used it throughout the years many times, but this is the first time that I got the aluminum free version, but I honestly cannot tell a difference between this one and the original. The only negative thing that I thought thought was the fact that the sticker was hard to take off on the top and I had a difficult time taking the plastic off. You can see the picture with the residue from the sticker, which doesn't affect the product at all which is why I rated it five stars.

It's hard to review Aluminum Free Deodorants because ingredients work differently depending on the indiviual body chemistry of that person. Over the years, I have tried various Aluminum Free Deodorant. What has worked for me is the "Clarins Eau Dynamisante Natural Spray Deodorant." The Clarins Deodorant is alcohol based and contains essential oils. It has genuinely worked well for me. I decided to try this product because I really like the smell of this perfume. And The Deodorant smells good! Very floral and powdery. BUT, this smell does NOT translate well when I applied it my arm pits! Even though my arm pits were clean when I applied The Deodorant (I was fresh from a shower), the floral smell changed upon application...it smelled spoilt. As the days went by and I used this product more & more, I felt that I was just getting stinker. I had to stop using it. I do shower everyday at night and I use soap etc. I've never had this problem. Overall, this product did not work for me. NOTE: I noticed a lot of reviews are complaining that this is a FAKE product. This is not true. This is a genuine product. Donna Karan make two Cashmere Mist Deodorant formulas as follows: (1) Donna Karan Cashmere Mist - THE DEODORANT - Aluminum & Alcohol Free - This comes in a white slightly translucent container. (2) Donna Karan Cashmere Mist - DEODORANT - Anti-Perspirant Stick - This comes in a completely opaque cream/off white container. These are two completely different products. Not fakes.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Aluminum-Free Deodorant truly lives up to its reputation. The scent is soft, elegant, and long-lasting without being overpowering. I am someone who for my entire life post puberty I have the bologna patches due to underarm sweat. I have used every single deodorant and antidepressant available both over the counter and prescribed. I’ve even paid for botox in my armpits to stop the sweating. Which worked btw. But this is a much more cost effective choice than the Botox. The smell is not my favorite which funny to me, Donna Karin Chaos was my absolute favorite perfume that they discontinued and kept cashmere mist. I still have the perfume that I purchased in 1998 for a lot of money for a young girl, I wish they still carried that sent. I haven’t found anything that compares. But anyways by this. For not being an antiperspirant, I don’t get underarm sweat aka balogna patches.

Smells good. Goes on smooth. I like to use this one during the cooler months as it tends to work better for me. I stay pretty dry. If you are like me, I sweat when I’m hot. This is not as effective for me during summer months nor when I workout. It is easy to scrub off with soap and warm water. During warm months, I definitely have to shower after 6 to 8 hours. The deodorant lasts longer when I’m not sweating. This product would be worth the money if it worked in both cold and warm weather.
