My neighbor "gifted" me a True Temper wheel barrow because he didn't want to deal with it's flat tire. These wheel barrows are $100-$140 new. I bought this replacement tire, and now it's like brand new. It was very easy to remove the old tire and install this replacement (removed a few nuts to take the one bracket off of one side and the wheel spindle slid out). Just make sure you get the a replacement with the proper diameter and spindle size.

I have a wheel barrow that I don't use often but this last time I went to use it it had a flat tire. I went to a local retailer to buy a new tube but they didn't have the size I needed so I bought a patch kit. I removed the tube and after finding the leak I installed a patch and reassembled the tire and tube. I installed the tire and tube back on the wheel barrow and the next day it was flat again. I took it back off and removed the tube and found a new leak in a different place and installed another patch and reassembled the tire and tube. After airing it up I just set it on the work bench and checked it the next day. Flat again. Don't know whats going on but I decided to look for a solid tire and rim combo. I found this one and ordered it and am real happy with it knowing its not going to go flat. It is larger and beefier than the old one which I like. Pushing it across the yard it almost feels like a pneumatic tire which is desirable on rough terrain. I would recommend this over pneumatic tires and tubes as there are no worries of getting a flat.

Please ignore the "Vine Voice" badge here. I purchased this tire, after having received and reviewed other, similar tires.My wheelbarrow had a wheel with a hub that was 2 1/4 inches narrower. I wanted the wheel on the wheelbarrow - actually, I needed it. I looked, considered, and cut away 1 inch on either side of the axle supports, to fit the new hub. Just about perfect, that extra quarter inch was made up in the adjustable mounts.I can't rate longevity on an item that I've just received, LOL!! But I like the no-flat tires I've already bought for my various carts. I expect that these will last a long, long time, without the hassle of airing up the tires every time you need the wheelbarrow.Money well spent!
