LG Electronics 2W20017E Washer Front Panel Door Boot Clamp

I purchased this boot clamp for my LG Front Loader Model # WM2250CW. It fit perfect and stopped that little drip that everyone else was talking about on the bottom front. I also replaced gasket. That also may have helped with the drip. I mainly because I had my machine apart to replace the gasket and figured I would replace this also. I will say my machine is 6 years old and has no other issues. I did clean the front of the drum though when I had the entire front of the machine apart.One thing I would recommend is spending the money on the expansion tool. Easy install. Perfect fit. I sprayed the spring with WD-40, in the hopes this one will not rust out like the original.

Not much to say here. It was a perfect fit for my washer and does the job exactly as it is designed to do.

If you're replacing the door gasket, you may as well replace this clamp. Note that the clamp that holds the gasket onto the drum housing is different (I reused that one.) It is difficult to install, but I eventually managed it using thin-nosed ViseGrip pliers.

Great price. I wasn't able to use the part because the electronics went out on our washer before I could install this part.

I bought this and didn't need to. I could have reused the original. I didn't return my purchase to Amazon in time so into the recycle bin it went...
