THE BEST COMPRESSION RING REMOVAL TOOL YOU WILL EVER WANT!
The BEST compression fitting removal tool out there. After struggling to remove a few copper pipe 1/2: compression fittings, I stumbled on this little gem. Not only does it effortessly removed the dreaded compression fitting, but it also smoothos out the copper pipe to remove the original groove the old compression ring created. Total time to remove was about 1 minute. A little 100 grit sandpaper to clean up the end for the new shut off valve and you are DONE. Saves a lot of work and swearing, trust me.

Did the job.
Replaced a couple of 30 year old shut off valves. Had to remove the old compression rings, and they were tight. This tool worked like a charm, and I really had to crank down on it. Very satisfied with purchase.

Works as Intended
Worked as intended - be aware that if the old compression ring was crimped too tight this tool may not work. I had one old compression ring that was too tight and I ended up using a Dremel tool to cut it off.

it works as advertised … knocked off one star for the t handle in turning the device, seems flimsy, will have to see how it holds up.Alot of effort is used when pulling off a nut and compression sleeve.

Makes under sink shut off valve replacement easy.
Replaced 5 shut off valves with this, 2 sinks and one toilet. Works perfectly. Pulled the ferrule right off. Easy to use first time. Would not try to do a valve replacement job without it. Pays for itself, DIY job.

Ease and simplicity of use.
If you have ever tried removing a compression ring with two pair of pliers and spent too much time in the process, this tool is for you. It is constructed of good material and is very easy and simple to use. I had a very tight spot where getting two pair of pliers would have been impossible. I simply attached this tool and within a minute I had removed the old ring and nut. I highly recommend this tool for the price.
