perfect for a cool pirate accessory! there is a small snap that opens on top so you can easily take out the jar from its holster to fill up or drink out of etc and not have to remove from your belt all together

Clear, like the photos
You will see a clear bottle in the pictures. That's what it looks like. This is great quality glass within a leather holster capped with a cork top. I couldn't be happier.

Quality item, but not purple colored...
This is a great bottle, very sturdy with lots of details of the skeletons on the faux leather straps. The cork allows to pour liquid into it. The only thing is that I thought this bottle was going to be slightly colored in a purple hue based on the product photos, however, it is clear glass, thus 4/5 stars. I'll just add some water with food dye to remedy my magic potion for Halloween!

Thick glass, nice cork, excellent faux-leather wrap
Excellent low-cost addition to a variety of costumes.Yes, the straps are faux leather - and in the right lighting conditions (and with the right crowd) this doesn't matter at all. The product looks great!And at ~$8 at time of writing, it is a great value - especially considering how much time it'll take to create such an item yourself.Further, if you decide you must, eventually create an authentic setup, this sphere already gets you half the way there.Great product, we've had great success with it - highly recommend.

The glass is clear
I ordered the potion bottle for my pirate costume I wear for a local Renaissance festival. The skulls and cross bones make it a perfect fit with my pirate theme. I was disappointed that the glass bottle is clear glass, not the rainbow looking glass in the pictures. It's not a deal breaker because the bottle is nice and I will still use it. The color difference should be mentioned.
