COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skincare Color Correcting Serum Moisturizer Primer, Redness Neutralizer, For Fair Skin Tones

I’m literally on my third bottle of this. I can’t stand the feeling of make up on my face but I have some serious redness. I use this as the last step for my morning skincare routine. I don’t put foundation over it so I can’t speak on the priming part of it but it feels so hydrating on my skin. It takes enough of my redness away that I’m not embarrassed of my skin. I know many color correctors are made to use under makeup so they wouldn’t look right unless you were putting foundation over them. This one blends right on and I actually notice my skin feels less irritated when using it.

I loved this product originally. Did a good job of calming my redness and provides a great glow on it’s own. Also was a great primer under my foundation. I had to stop using it because it was causing to me to breakout unfortunately

Use this product to calm ruddy skin down. It's got a nice sheen to it and I like the texture of it. Very happy with product and will definitely buy again.

I have a very clear complexion and use Oil of Olay as a moisturizer and all I needed was a very light, nongreasy, nonsticky primer. In my opinion, it's awful and not for me.

Before & After pics. I had to write because the coverage is so awesome. I have dark spots on both sides of my chin. I've tried smoothing this look with the best of concealers and it only makes it chalky looking or obviously lighter and/or both. This product smoothed the look plus evened my tone and I'm not sure the pic shows how well. I'm a fair brown woman and this tone at first sight appears darker than mine, but one it's on, it's amazing. Always use primer first but this really does neutralize dark spots!!! I love it!

I have moderate rosacea and sensitive skin. I will try anything to make it go away. The first several time I used this product I did notice a difference! Within a week, I noticed my pores started to get clogged and it actually made my skin nasty. Those of you with sensitive skin… stay away.

Update, I re-purchased this in the pink Color. On my pasty pale skin, the pink is a very nice primer. Sometimes I wear it without additional makeup and it makes pores and texture look smoothed out a bit. I have pretty reactive skin and normally go for higher end stuff, but this doesn’t seem to bother it or cause redness. Five stars for this one, but still gonna bring it down a star because three stars for the orange one that doesn’t mention on the Amazon listing that it’s for dark skin tones.I thought this was going to be kind of a sheer primer for color correcting. It is like very dark orange toned foundation. It settles into pores and makes them emphasized for darkness. I am pale with melasma and this is honestly the worst product I have ever bought for color correcting. It’s trash for me. Unless you are a person of color, don’t get this. Maybe for dark skin tones it would work but it didn’t seem indicated that clearly that it’s not for all skin tones. The box it came in did clearly say “for dark skin tones” but I opened and tried it since it was cheap and I already had it delivered. 0/5 stars.

This redness neutralizer works alright. I wouldn't say it's the best redness neutralizer I have used before and certainly not better than high end brands. I personally find the redness to be somewhat neutralized, however, I don't find my makeup sits very well on top of it though so it doesn't work very well as a primer for me. I am still using it and testing it out to see if there is a way I can get it to work better for me. I would rather spend more money on a higher quality product.
