Warm & well-made
I purchased this because I wanted a down mummy bag that was not over-priced because of a brand name.At 3.7lbs, this bag is lighter than my REI bag & it compresses nicely into the bottom pocket of my pack.I am impressed by the quality of the bag. The stitching is good. The zipper is easy to work both directions. There is a strip of thicker fabric sewn into the inside zipper cover, so the zipper doesn’t get caught up when it’s being closed & the zipper cover does its job to keep the warm air in when the zipper is closed.I used this bag for a 3 night backpacking trip in late September in Colorado. The first night, we were at about 9200’. The temperature got down into the high 40’s & I slept comfortably wearing only my undies, with the zipper open. The 2nd night, we were at 11,400’ & the temperature got down into the mid 30’s. Again, I slept in just my undies, but this time zipped up. I was so warm that I had to stick my arm out occasionally to regulate my body temperature. The 3rd night, we were still at 11,400’, but it got colder & even snowed about 4”. The outside temp was in the high 20’s & I was in my undies in my mummy bag, warm as could be!In other bags rated for 0-20 degrees, my feet are ALWAYS cold. This is the first time camping in the cold that I was able to sleep well because my feet were warm! This bag is excellent & a great value. If you are looking for a good quality 15 degree down mummy bag that is actually affordable, this is it.

Feature packed
First impression:I was a little worried this might be a low quality sleeping bag as the price point is in line with what you can find at most big box stores (not specializing in camping) but I figured it was worth a shot. I went with the 15 and was hoping it would not be overly large so that I could pack it for motorcycle camping. My previous sleeping bag was a mountain hardware pinhole and when I removed the new bag from the box I was sad to see they are about the same size. However! The pin hole while packed into its storage sack is very dense and cannot be compressed any further and the qezer still had a lot more compression available so it can be made much smaller which I am very happy to see. I took the bag out of the compression sack and found that it also comes with a storage bag so that it is able to be store loose which I did not expect and was very happy to find.Size in compression bag:At first after removing the bag is was pretty flat and the fill had almost no body which is to be expected after being in a compression bag, so I allowed it to sit for about an hour and fluff up. When I returned to the bag I was happy to see it had filled out nicely and the fill had bounced back from compression nicely and to be honest even more than expected.Features:At this point I inspected the bag and did not find any defects, but I am very pleased with its build quality. It has some really nice features that are not totally covered in its listing. The zipper pull rather than having a pull on the inside and a pull on the outside, is made to flip from the outside to the inside and I prefer that because when zipped up you can flip it out of the bag and it’s not tickling you. I have had bags with the other design and did not like it. The Velcro at the mouth of the bag for stowing the zipper can also be folded over on its self as they have attached both hook and loop and this is a subtle add I. That I love because I hate leaving the hook side exposed to catch on everything. Well done on that!! There is a nicely insulated flap you can put in place to cover the zipper after getting yourself in the bag that some brands have failed to include or make much to thin making the zipper a very cold seam running up the whole bag. This one it’s easily as thick as the rest of the fill on the whole bag. The draw string skirt is at a good place to have the skirt draw tight around your shoulders and leave plenty of room in the hood. The hood of course also has a nice draw string making the bag very snug. I will say the phone pocket took me a little while to find (it’s sewn into the draw sting skirt) and though it’s not something I really planned to use, it’s a little on the small size any how. With out a case on I could fit my iPhone 14 into it reasonably well but if I use it for anything I think a small pen light will probably be the only thing.Fit:I am 6’1” and even with the skirt over my shoulders my feet where not at the end of the bag leaving plenty of room. Some people have said they found it a bit narrow but for my build I thought it was a good amount of room with out being to floppy and airy with a lot of excess material. I did not feel like my arms where pinned to my side at all and if I wanted to sleep in the bag at colder temps I feel comfortable in the fact that I could easily wear thermals or sweats and not be constricted.Over all I love the bag and I can’t wait to use it. I’m in Washington and the nights don’t get overly cold but I do hope to be able to use it with no liner or extra thermals, starting this spring. I hate sleeping in a cold bag and feeling like I have to try and wrap a blanket inside or wear more than shorts and a t shirt as it turns into such a hassle to pack all that extra stuff and then change and what not. I will update this after my first opportunity to use the bag.

Great value
Great bag honestly. Used for 5 summer nights in the high sierras. 10 deg bag was pretty warm at times but after unzipping it, it was fine. Very comfortable and will do well in colder camping. I love the ability to synch above your shoulders to prevent cold air getting in if your head isn’t fully covered. Cool feature!Only complaint would be the compression bag. Cheaply made and started to tear my first time compressing it. Definitely use an upgraded one. The bag itself is great though and I’ll probably pick up another.

Cozy, compact, and warm
This is the ideal sleeping back for backpacking. When I backpack in the summer I’m usually between 10-12k feet in elevation and it gets cold at night. This bag doesn’t take up very much room in my pack, and its weight isn’t a burden either.A few nights it got down to mid 30’s and I was comfortable in it.It’s also worked well for spring and fall camping.

Great bag!
I brought this on my SoCal section of the PCT. This was my favorite piece of gear that performed the best. I think the coolest it got for me was around 10F. I was warm all night just wearing a tee shirt and shorts. The outside of the bag would get wet due to condensation, but with a Little wipe down and a little bit of body heat it would be dry in no time. Never once was the inside of the bag wet, although I’m sure if you cowboy camp in the rain you will be soaked.I will take this bag any time I sleep outside. Even during the warm nights I would just unzip and use it as a blanket rather than bag. Definitely one of those items that I will continue to buy until discontinued.

Works great
Would give a 4.4 rating, Works great for compact size, weight and temperature but has some maintenance issues like feathers coming out and a slight smell, doesn't work well when wet, but has durable materials and zipper, some people are allergic to down feathers.
