Argon POD Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Case with HDMI & USB Hub – Simplified Port Access Without Extra Adapters

Turns a gumstick sized Pi zero 2w into a mini console. I actually have 2, one is a nanobot server, the other is waiting on its new po zero 2w since I used the one it was housing into a GPI Case for retro gaming. Makes it so much more useful. Bare boards just seem like its asking for problems.

I have been tinkering with all sorts of cases and raspberry pi models. I was putting something together for a friend and found this case in my searches. Don't mind me while I geek out a bit... This thing is so cool. It comes together very easily and has so much potential in such a small package. The way that the raspberry pi side of things just plugs right in to the other side allowing you to use a normal HDMI connection and USB connections is great! There are other components you can plug into this thing as well depending on what you are building. I absolutely love this case. Perfect companion to the Pi Zero 2 :-)

I liked the fact that this device added the adapters you would need to buy anyway in order to use your pi zero on anything. We need more of these thinkers in life you know? Be prepared to solder your GPIO in place though. It is not solder less it doesn’t fit tight. Other than that, great price. Great utility.

Really cool case if you wanted to just get the most baller case for a PI zero 2. Everything went together well and it was a creative way to assemble it. There was one major missing feature. They should have added USB C to the power input (-1 star). I would have liked to have seen POE on the USB and Ethernet board but otherwise works well. Looking forward to the UPS. This will be the main thing I will use it for.

This week, playing with Raspberry Pi - and chose Argon cases for my Pi Zero and their Pi 4 NAS Eon case. I already have other Pi setups using their cases. Argon cases are extremely well-designed and are always of the highest quality.

The POD case does not meet the expectations I had, especially as an Argon fan with 3 of their metal cases for various Pi 3, 4 & 5 versions. The top and bottom are plastic, I expected them to be aluminum like the rest of the case. The top does not snap nicely into place at all, nor is it gracefully removed. Worse, the light pipe just falls out! I've dropped it twice, and even with the case put together the light pipe does not stay in place and just rattles in the case. Worse Argon product I've purchased, maybe a replacement would be of better quality ...

Of all the Raspberry Pi units I now have (11 total), I have had the most fun with this little unit. Coupled with the Argon Pod cases (including the unit that gives me the Ethernet port) and the Innomaker mini DAC unit, this little system plays all my music files and old B & W TV shows with VLC (and even 720p movies without subtitles). Like everyone else, I wish it had 1MG of RAM instead of 512K but the "cuteness" factor of this little system is a 10. I can even run RPI Connect on it, but it's not good for browsing the Internet.
