I swooned hard for Milo when he started to fall for Veronica and wanted to make her dreams come true. Perfect 5-stars all the way!

It was honestly one of my happiest reads this year and the heartwarming nature of it just swept me away.This book is so sex positive and sex toy positive whirl keeping it nice and soft. Veronica, despite being a virgin, isn’t afraid of her own sexuality and just oozes confidence. I love seeing that in a woman. Milo is all about her pleasure and what she wants and we love to see it. He’s also open and supportive, never once doubting her skills anywhere. And he doesn’t mind toys in the bedroom, so he might be the perfect book boyfriend out there.There is very little drama between the couple and the 3rd act breakup was one of the least dramatic out there. I understood why it happened and it didn’t feel too drama-filled or drawn out. And the getting back together was so sweet 💕Also I have to give a special shout-out to the boss who had to let Veronica go. Honestly, top tier action from her, what she did and the whole support she was willing to give Veronica even after they had parted ways. Kind of a medium burn, with a not-your-average-virgin who is super flirty, very experiment-y, and magically has all the moves when the time comes. Milo is a hipster dreamboat (tight pants, tattoos, beard, and bike). He's a genuinely nice guy, too, and the chemistry is smokin'. But if you're looking for spice, keep looking. Despite a top 5 list of sexual fantasies and bedroom toys galore, the intimate scenes aren't that descriptive or long and they get shorter and shorter as the book progressed. Ultimately, this book boils down to a sweet romance between 2 lovely people. I still gave it 5 stars because it's well-written, and I loved the chapter after Milo realized he's Mr Sexy Pants but hasn't talked to Veronica yet. I love it when a guy gets worked up over wanting a girl. Lol.

This book was just what I needed! An amusing, flirty, sweet, and sexy romp with such lovable characters.Veronica Valentine was coasting through life until suddenly she was not. A cluster of mishaps, mistakes, and misadventures seem to be changing the course of her life. She is spunky, snarky, sweet, creative, and full of life. But now she has to take a little detour from the career she was building and regroup. She has also been crushing on a hottie from the neighborhood from afar but suddenly he is much closer than expected. She has no real-life sexual experience but lives a rich fantasy life that seems to be even more inspired by Mr. Sexy Pants.Things are starting to look up again for Milo's life, but he has sworn off dating after a relationship-gone-wrong. Even so, he can't help but notice the cute girl he keeps having run-ins with. And they hit it off so well he even thinks about bending his rules and at least maybe trying a hookup.But in another chapter a series-of-unfortunate-events, that is squashed by a new workplace relationship. Dating at work is just one of those ideas that could end in an even worse disaster. These two have bad timing and the world seems to be conspiring against them to bring them together at times but also keep them apart. She's still fantasizing and has a big secret. He is charming, smart, witty, and sexy. He's resisting but has equally dirty thoughts. Temptation is real. And eventually, some extra-curricular activities are hot and addicting.This is a delightful, fast-paced, quirky, entertaining, sexy, life-and-other-misadventures, girl-in-the-big city, employee-boss rom-com. They are both definitely nice but also have a lot of naughty thoughts that lead to even more naughty adventures. They are two witty, flirty, genuine, sex-positive, and just-so-darn-likable people finding a connection when they least expect it, but life seems to be both bringing them together and throwing obstacles in their way. This couple and their story had me smiling and swooning. and their chemistry is off the charts and they are totally in sync!They just play off each other so well in daily life, with their senses of humor and rapport, and even the love of their little dog friends. And in the bedroom, they are most definitely compatible and equally inspired. She’s ready to explore anything and he’s ready to go right along with her and support her in that journey. Things have the potential to be fantastic but there are also some fears that make it seem like it might be too good to be true and hold them back. It’s a story of growth for both of them and trying to figure out what they need to be happy. So it’s about living life to its fullest and how it can be much better with somebody by your side if you’re just willing to be brave and trust in it.Their friend groups add so much humor, but also so much support. I have enjoyed her sister Hazel in other books but now I seriously cannot wait for her to get her own story that was teased a bit. A few of his guy friends like Axel and Drew, as well as his brother, Bryan, and her friend, Ellie, and co-workers all add to the framework of the story. I am really looking forward to these other characters getting their own books. Even the animals have big personalities and are fun to watch.

Veronica who’s still a Virgin and an editor for children’s books she has recently taken another job as sex blogger . Milo who’s not had much luck lately with his love life, since he discovered his now ex was seeing other men whilst with him . Milo and Veronica first met when he was helping a friend out at his friends cake / coffee shop and Veronica went there to meet a friend . The following weeks see them run into one another where they enjoy one another’s company and their dogs seem to be getting along as well . As things seem to be going well for them Veronica is about to make a huge error when one day she sent her sex blog to the wrong people resulting in her loosing her job . Imagine her having surprise when she discovers that her new boss is someone that she knows ……. This is a slow burn love story which is quite hilarious in places ……loved the names of the two pooches .

First time reading books by Lauren not sure if it how she writes or what but I didn't enjoy it the story line good but I just couldn't get into it at all
