I have not had this product very long so I can’t say whether or not it will last. However, this is my third time purchasing a produce like this. The other 2 were battery operated and I found that I had to change batteries often and the products lasted less then a year. I really like the idea of this product, so I purchased this one hoping it will last longer. What I like most about this product is that fact that it is rechargeable and doesn’t need batteries! So far this product has meet my expectations and works well. It’s a great night light for the toilet. It is very useful when you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. No need to turn on an overhead light. This is very useful when you really don’t want to turn on a bright light in the middle of the night just to use the bathroom. This devise is motion activated so it lights up when he approach the toilet and stays on until you leave the bathroom. I also like the color chooses and the ability to set the brightness level, which other products like this don’t allow. All in all I’m very happy with this product. I also like the fact that if it stops working within a years time frame they will send you a replacement for free. The price is comparable to the previous devices that I purchased and has a lot more features. I would highly recommend this product.

As funny as this thing is, it's great!! It works as it should and stops the kids from turning on the bathroom light when they get up in the middle of the night. I also dont turn on the light when I'm going in to just use the bathroom, even during the day the lights stay off unless one of us is getting ready for work, school, or bed. The battery lasts for quite some time, about two weeks or more. There's 3 of us here and it comes on every time we walk past the bathroom. It has to be dark enough and it usually is. The motion detection is great, works from pretty far away. I would say probably 20 feet or so away. It has to be facing the right way if you want it to come on before you walk in the bathroom and you need to make sure it's dark enough as well. If there's enough light from another room it will stop it from coming on. I live in an apartment and my bathroom can be seen from pretty much every room in the house, so we try to keep the lights off so they don't mess with this one. We definitely enjoy this little light!

I have had one for years and after my 91 year old mother commented that she nearly "missed" the toilet in the middle of the night I got her this one. She is thrilled! No more annoying bright lights that partially wake you up. Such a great safety item, especially for elderly peeps!

This unit worked amazingly well while it lasted. A little over two years ago I settled on this model based upon the reviews and based upon the fact that it was rechargeable. Everything about the unit (features, sensitivity, and battery life) met or exceeded my expectations. Battery life in particular was far beyond what I expected. Then again it's just me using it, so that surely must help in the battery department.Last night I went to charge it back up (was indicating low). Afterward it stopped working properly and stayed on for hours instead of shutting off. I tried a number of things before finally concluding that it is somehow defective. Given the day and age in which we live I guess two years isn't a terribly short lifespan but I would have liked it to have it last a little longer. Hence the four-star rating.These things are so handy that once you have one you may wonder how you did without it. I have already ordered a replacement (trying a different brand this time). Hoping that one works out for a while also!

Rechargeable batteries have become very expensive. It’s nice to come out of the bathroom in the middle of the night and not be blinded

As a whole I am very pleased with this product. I wish I'd known about it sooner. It's very easy to get working (from someone who is mechanically challenged), and to select the color and brightness desired. The only drawback is that the light goes off too soon once activated at night (after no more than 30 seconds), placing a person in total darkness when movement to trip the light on again is not convenient in the midst of bathroom business. But I still highly recommend this product for its quality and usefulness! I'm adding this note September 17, 2019. It's now five months of almost daily use without needing to be recharged! I am charging it now as a preventative measure, so it won't soon fail at night, but it obviously exceeds expectations of one who's usually up 2-3 times each night. I'm adding this note January 16, 2020. In October the light began flickering, even after being fully charged. I contacted the seller. Seller responded quickly, stated their toilet light is backed fully by a one-year warranty, and promptly shipped a replacement. It has now worked flawlessly. Don't let reviewers critical of this light keep you from getting one yourself. It's a great product, sturdy, and easily cleanable!

I received this product on August 11th 2023 and worked very well till now. So, as of November 10th 2023, it doesn't work anymore, so for 3 months I can say it's not worth the money.

The box was crumpled and was opened at the unsealed end. I figured someone returned it, and now it was mine. All mine!Plugged it into the charger, and a few hours later it was green and charged.Read the easy-to-understand instructions, got the color I wanted, and set it up on the toilet bowl. A few hours later came the first test. And there was my toilet bowl all lit up like a department store window. Yay, me!Then this morning, the little light thingie, just hung off the edge of the bowl and no light. Tried shutting it down and that worked. Turned it back on, and that worked providing just a red or green light.I asked, and will be getting a replacement. I really liked this item, and I hope the seller will just throw the one I am returning away, and send me one that will work more than 24 hours.

Works really well, best one of these I've purchased yet. It's been 2 months and the charge is still working to light up the toilet, the light is used often, great upgrade over battery powered ones.

Can’t say enough about this USB rechargeable toilet seat light. Works perfectly and lasts for months. We used this in our house and now in our RV to provide just a bit of light at night. Works perfectly and is rechargeable. One of my best Amazon buys!
