Well-made figurines, very well packaged and lovely vintage print on the box. Good buy for 48 dollars (5.9 inch).Even though I am all for Christmas decorations and have spent a fair amount of money on them over the years, there’s something about seeing the Nativity Scene commercially exploited that doesn’t sit right with me. Sure, we live in a capitalist world and people will try to make money wherever there’s demand and opportunity. Spending money in a quality Nativity Scene that you will have for years is one of those things where there’s demand and the companies selling it don’t necessarily follow Christianity or fully understand the meaning of what they’re selling. They just want the $$$. The Nativity Scene as we know today and display as part of Christmas decor, was a creative idea by Saint Francis of Assisi, who incidentally made poverty vows and who I reckon in no way would support the commercial exploitation of his idea.That said, I grew up with Nativity Scenes during Christmas and really wanted one. As a kid, I made one myself with a shoe box and some paper and glue, which I think, simple as it was, was more meaningful than buying a set. All said, I saw beautiful sets on Amazon, some in the hundreds of dollars, and as much as I would love one of those, it just didn’t feel right to spend that much, when Jesus Himself was born in a manger and taught humanity about humility. It’s contradictory to me to spend so much in a scene that’s meant to teach the exact opposite. But to each their own. On Black Friday, I decided to spend a moderate forty eight dollars for these figurines and used a wine box and some straw that I had at home to create my own backdrop. I also got some inexpensive fairy lights and took a creative lighting license on my set. I love the result.The figurines are delicate and nicely painted. I do wish the set had come with a couple more barn animals (it comes with three) and a camel!

Besblee 7.9 inch Nativity figurines work perfectly with the Besblee 14"L x 4.1"W x 12"H Wooden Nativity Stable. The figures are colorful and good quality resin. They probably won't be heirlooms, but if handled and stored carefully, they should last many years. They are the perfect size for my fireplace mantel. After Christmas, they easily fit back into the Styrofoam packaging and cardboard box they arrived in, for safe storage. None of the items were broken when I received them and none of them broke while I was handling them. It came with three animals - a cow, donkey, and sheep. The only thing I think could be improved on would be an additional set of animals that could be purchased separately. But the set is nice just the way it is. If you want the angel and the star to be taller than the stable, you can find a little box or other object to place under them. You can use your imagination and be creative with this figurine set.

The details are fine and the paint is shiny. The faces look realistic. It would have been perfect if one of the animals didn’t have a broken tail but I would still recommend. It captures the true spirit and essence of Christmas, the birth of Christ, savior of mankind.

When I ordered these nativity figures, I was not expecting the extraordinary quality and craftsmanship for the figures. I am pleasantly surprised and proud to display them on my mantle for the Christmas season. They are well made, included are directions for caring and cleaning the figures, and the heavy styrofoam holders the figures came in will help me keep them stored during the year without fear of breaking them, or trying to find another receptacle for storage. The outside box is beautiful with explanations for each figurine. The size was exactly as described. They will be treasured and enjoyed for many years.
