Excellent
I've been wanting a proper workshop apron for a while. Now I'm retired I'm spending much more time in the home workshop tinkering with my push bikes and doing small repair jobs. I have been using a regular cooking apron, but it isn't quite right nor really up to the job. This one is perfect. The pockets are just the right size for the small number of light wheel-building and bike maintenance tools that I use ... and the upper pocket is useful for pens, pencils, pointers etc. With the pockets, I no longer waste hours searching for the chain spliter that I was using just a few minutes ago and put down somewhere. It's actually improved my workflow as it makes my life that little bit quicker and easier. It feels good and should last for ages.Update: I've modified it a bit. I found it a bit of a faff to put it on as it has to go over your head and get your arms through; a bit like putting on a jumper. It's not for heavy tools or anything like that, so I got Mrs Sunshine to put a neck strap on it and two straps at the back ... like a regular domestic cooks' pinny. So now it's head through the neck strap and tie behind ... EASY! She gets her sewing machine out at the drop of a hat and it only took her about 20 minutes. We used the (very long) original straps; they're made of man-made material so a quick burst with a gas lighter sealed the ends. I'm even more pleased with it now.

A solid apron.
I can't comment on how this apron would arrive if bought on its own, as mine came in a fairly sturdy box along with some other times. The apron itself, however was tightly folded into a small but reasonably thick plastic zip bag.As for the apron's quality, the fabric is thick but also rather inflexible (it might "wear in" a little as time goes on), this also affects the pockets which are deep but somewhat difficult to use as the material does not want to conform to objects put inside (especially if their dimensions are too large). That said, the pockets are useful for small, or thinner items like pens, brushes, small clippers/pliers, some cooking utensils etc.The metal clasps are somewhat tricky to coax around the aforementioned inflexible material but once on they seem pretty secure. The fit is good but for those with broader chests the coverage might be an issue under the arms; likely not an issue unless you're working with a lot of splashing liquid (some cooking etc) but worth mentioning.Overall a decent apron with a few caveats for some specific situations.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Unsure why advertised as man's apron. Great apron for ladies too. Using for pottery and just great.

Practical Apron
Pleased with fit & length of this canvas apron. Tie length sufficient to cross over & tie. Pockets very handy & canvas material sturdy.

Workshop aprons
Delivered on time and to buying description. Product seems to be well made. Only issue is apron size. It is to small to fit comfortably, I'm 1.8m height, and be practical in use. Will be used by others so not returning. For a smaller frame person would work as workshop apron
