Awesome Product! | Works Great While MTB'ing
I was recently getting ready for a MTB endurance race and a friend of mine saw me putting on my cotton headband and made a comment that I should really try the SWEAT GUTR Sweatband. Of course I replied I’m used to wearing my cotton headband; sure by the end of riding it’s soaked with sweat, but I’ve ridden this way for years. Anyway, after the race, I started looking at the SWEAT GUTR FLEX sweatbands and figured I would give this gadget a try. Honestly, I was really surprised after my ride today. I had zero in my face; this was a first.WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS THE SWEAT GUTR FLEX SWEATBAND1. Zero sweat was in my eyes! This sweatband works!2. Since I'm not wearing my cotton headband, I noticed my head was a little cooler overall because I noticed the helmet vents actually doing their job.WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS THE SWEAT GUTR FLEX SWEATBAND1. Sweat did find another location, my ears… not a massive amount, but I did feel a little sweat making its way into my ears. In all fairness, I do wear my Apple earphones while riding and these may have been a contributor to this nuance. However, I since I only used the sweatband once, I cannot say for sure. I will give it another try without my headphones.UPDATE:After a few more rides, and adjusting the sweatband, the sweatband is simply awesome. The one thing that was bothering me about a little sweat going in my ears is now a non-issue; even when wearing my Apple earphones...THIS IS THE NEWEST MODEL FOR 2018According to the SWEAT GUTR website, the SWEAT GUTR FLEX sweatband is the newest model for 2018. From what I gathered from my research, the FLEX fits better under helmets than previous versions. Since I used mine today, I can attest that this fits great under a helmet.CONCLUSIONThe big win is that I did not have sweat in my eyes for the first time - ever.If you looking for a sweatband that will keep sweat out of your eyes, this will definitely do the job.

Works well and is very comfortable
I am a cyclist who sweats a lot! For a while I have been using the Halo sweat bands with the sweat channel on them. They worked ok until they became saturated, which didn't take long. It probably didn't help that I have a large head, so the sweat band was stretched out across my forehead. After a ride I would also have a red line where the sweat channel is because it for so tightly. I just figured this was the best I was gonna get until I found this GUTR sweatband!I immediately loved that it is adjustable, so I can make it actually fit my melon! It took some adjusting to figure out where to put it on my head so as not to interfere with my helmet or sunglasses, but once I had it dialed in it was magical! The first time wearing it was in a 200+ mile weekend charity ride, and I have no regrets. This thing kept up with all my sweat, and let none of it get into my eyes. Afterward, I could just rinse it off with the rest of my gear and get on with my life. I am happy to recommend this to all of my cycling friends!

Works well in Texas Summer Heat While Cycling
It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because I ordered 2 of them and neither color was the color I ordered. But as someone who rides for 2-4+ hours in Texas summers it does a good job at removing a lot of sweat that drips into my eyes. It doesnt stop everything but it has significantly reduced how much comes from my head/forehead down my face and into my eyes. Very happy with it, just wish I got the color I ordered.

One of the best for the heavy sweat producer
I sweat a lot from my forehead. When working out a a exercise bike or elliptical, the sweat pours off my forehead. A sweatband doesn't cut it.I tried this and I love it. It takes the sweat that runs off my forehead and it siphons it to the side. There is a little bit of some run through between the band and the eyebrows. If you make the band tighter, it does work better, but then it is less tolerable. The new improved model with the new hooking mechanism is better than the older one. And, at time I use this with the Halo band... the two together is great. If I had a wish, I would recommend that they make the band ever so slightly wider. That would allow a little tighter fit that wasn't concentrated in the small band area at the forehead. So, great band. Try it. It does work with the Halo band. And, it fits under all helmets.

Not very useful at all
I've had this item for nearly 2 weeks now and have used it on multiple hot sweaty rides. The concept makes sense, but it doesn't work. I have very little hair and sweat runs down my forehead even with a sweat cap under my helmet. I was hoping that using this product would divert some sweat away from my glasses, but unfortunately it's worthless. I followed the directions and placed it a finger width above my eyebrow. I check the gutter after every ride and there's almost no sweat accumulating in the gutter. If you sweat from below the band placement, such as from your eyebrows, you will get sweat in your eyes and on your riding glasses. Such is the case for me. I'm not overweight or a heavy sweating person. I really wanted a solution to sweat in my eyes and glasses, but the product did not solve the problem for me. I assume that if you don't sweat from the pores in your skin below the Gutr guard, this may work well for you. It didn't for me. I'm glad it was inexpensive and I will not feel bad when I toss it in the trash.UPDATE: I did two 80 mile rides this past weekend in 90 degree weather. Sweat was pouring off of me. At the end of each ride I checked the channel of this item and it was completely dry. It doesn't work. If anything, it acted as a rubber barrier to force some sweat to the edge, but no sweat ever made it into the GUTR channel. Don't waste your money on this item. A HALO sweatband will probably do the same thing and may be less expensive and less funny looking on your head.

Meh
I purchased this for cycling in central Texas. I found that is sort of works, sometimes, but I still had to deal with sweat rollling down below the gutter. Or, maybe around the edges of the gutter. I'll try it again, but am unconvinced of its utility as it gets warmer out.
