Okay, let's get a pool, end of Summer for 1 event. Sure. We chose this one & so glad we did because it was a good find. First thing, dont get rushed & not buy sand. Its essential for ANY size pool. Place tarp on top of sand. Okay, by my self I unpacked it, did sand & tarp. I could have dont set up by myself but recruited the hubby which made ease of set up so much quicker. Total project time 2 hours with sand leveling. 1 hour just pool. Its well made and no missing items. Directions are clear & simple. Bought 2 XL floats and it was perfect for floating and relaxing. Functions for us perfectly, no steps needed, small pump, small area to clean. We got the pool to chill with other adults. It would good for younger kids or teens to just cool down on hot days. This pool setup is not big enough for grown people to swim but the cooling effect is awesome during heat wave. We used pump included and ran it on 10 hour cycle daily. Water clarity was perfect with pump & floating chlorine tablets container. Overall, best to set up with 2 for smoother set up. Recommend for families with younger kids or adults who just like to float. Im definitely impressed with quality.

We've spent most of the summer in it. It's perfect size to warm up quickly on hot days (if the nights are cool). Easy set up as well

Wanted a decent pool for the backyard in the summer but didn’t want to spend too much money. Very happy with this. This was the first time setting up an above ground pool, it was mostly straightforward, although did run into a few difficulties. The pool itself is great though. Enough room for a floatie or two. Can do a little floating or be immersed. I’m fairly short and don’t really need a ladder. Perfect on a hot summer day. Seeing as summers are short here, the quality is good enough should get quite a few years out of this.

I’m shocked how much they decreased the quality! I’d rather pay $10-20 more for the same quality it was 2 years ago. 3rd pic is the one I bought May of 2023…you can see they changed the design. That one got destroyed last summer by a bad storm which is no fault of Intex. But this new quality is ridiculous and isn’t the prism supposed to be a bit better of a line than the regular blue ones? The bottom used to be the same exact material and thickness as the sides and it was very thick. Not only has the side material gotten noticeably thinner, the bottom is not the same. I felt how light the box felt and then how light the liner felt when I got it out. I thought there was something missing or that they packed the wrong liner because I remember how heavy and thick the last one was. You can see in the second pic how much the sun comes through the bottom. On the last one, no sun went through the sides or bottom. I was literally afraid to put this up and puncture it, it’s so thin. The bottom is now the same thinness as the cheap blowup pools from the dollar store for $20. What’s the point of having the nice poles when you go so cheap on the liner, your finger nail could rip it? So disappointing! I don’t see this being able to last past this year. Plus, I haven’t measured it but it also does not fit in the same indention as the last one. Several inches on all sides smaller. I don’t have the old anymore to measure but I’d guess it’s smaller too…even though they’re supposed to have both been 10ft. **edited after finishing the setup and filling with water today 6/1/25. Have to lower the rating again. Added 2 pics of leaking water. There is pooling water around it and I can’t find where it’s coming from. I’ve wiped away the water and these pictures were after that when the water pooled back into these spots. So it’s either leaking from the seams or somewhere on the very thin bottom. I’ve checked all the hose points and drain and they’re not leaking. I could live with the lower quality if it lasted the year but really?! Also, I have a tarp at the very bottom on the dirt then I have this very thick felt that’s used for huge above ground pools that I cut to fit. And then I just bought another brand new tarp to put on top of that. I opened and put it down the same time I set up the pool today.
