BestEvMod Screen Side Mesh Panel Wrap for 2022-2026 Ioniq 5(LHD, Black)

If you added an aftermarket black bezel overlay to cover the stock white bezel on a Hyundai Ioniq5, this black mesh fabric is the missing piece that you need for a cohesive look. Installation was straightforward...which is good because there were zero instructions included. The hardest part was removing the plastic panel (with OEM white fabric) from the dash. Unfortunately, the plastic tool that was included with the kit is fairly useless. It is not strong enough to pry the panel and it bent almost immediately. Luckily, I had an extra spudger from a laptop repair kit and a thin metal shim that were able to safely pop the panel off the dash. The BestEvMod black mesh overlay was cut perfectly and can be stretched taught over the panel. Using a few pieces of the included double-sided adhesive strips kept everything in place. Once done and the panel popped back into place, everything looks completely stock and matches the new black bezel overlay perfectly!

Great looking companion to the black screen bezel with the black interior of my car. Took many tries to install without the fabric puckering. I didn't want to remove the original white fabric in case any future owner prefers the stock look, so the two layers of fabric make the magnetic mount function almost useless, it takes a strong magnet to hold anything while driving, but I bought it more for looks anyway.

Easy installation, but the cloth has some wrinkles — that hopefully will smooth out over time — and the cloth fits a bit baggy. Overall it looks better black and is a bit say change back to stock. I rate it 3.5 to 4.

To make the kit easier, included instructions would have been nice. Even some tips. Fortunately the Amazon advert had instructions as a pic. The tools were helpful. I found installing this not easy...only because the the directional label was installed incorrectly. Afterwards it went on without issue. The double sided tape worked. I sprayed a couple passes of Scotch guard as an extra measure.

This product was great to change the color of my speaker grill for the Ioniq 5. Getting it off using the supplied tools was quite easy. The most difficult thing for me was getting the backing off the adhesive, it should have easy pull off tabs because those adhesives were so small. I ended up using my own double stick tape and got the job done. Ultimately, a great look to go along with the Matte black bezel and matte screen protector.

It looks great, and with a little work you can get the cover nice and tight, absolutely worth the money, but if you need it to fit perfectly on the dashboard or it will constantly bug you, keep in mind, unless you remove the fabric from the part before putting this cover on, it will not fit flush back into the dashboard.

This product is a black sleeve that you stretch and tape around the magnetic fabric that must be pried out of your dash. The sleeves fit is poor and even if you manage to remove the wrinkles, the fabric bunches in the corners and then the plate dosnt sit flush (its already a tight fit). The adhesive is strong enough that I could cut out the corner fabric but I still had issues and decided this is just too shoddy a product to keep installed. I also expect the extra fabric will reduce the magnetic strength a bit. Two stars because it does... work... ish. But do you want this in your new car?

The product came as advertised and was easy to install. Installed within 5 minutes. Came with a set of tools, that I now have to use for other projects. This completes the look I was looking for. Also, it's easily reversible.

Ist nur eine Stoffhülle mit Gummizug, passt aber wenn die Position gefunden wurde sehr gut und Klebestreifen braucht man nicht.. Optimal in Verbindung mit der schwarzen Folie 👍🏻

Sowohl Folie als auch stoffüberzug haben relativ gute passgenauigkeit und das werkzeug zur montage ist mit inbegriffen.

It is actually just a fabric. And if it’s actually put over the original, the magnet needs to be a lot stronger than before. So I’d suggest removing the original underneath and putting just this one instead. The plastic tool didn’t do much, had to use the metal one, but be careful for scratches and breaking the plastic frame. Overall does what it’s supposed to do.
