Fantastic Cable Extremely Fast Shipping and Delivery
Works Great. I had to buy it because the original cable was damaged when I tipped over it. I received it a day and a half after ordering it with free delivery.

Perfect for modding to balanced
I bought this cable to mod for my 99 Noirs (yes, that’s why the photos have a noir filter), but before I go into that, I’ll review it as is. AS IS —————————— It’s perfectly fine. Same as the stock cable, just a helluva lot longer and without the annoying inline mic/call controls hugging my face. No difference in sound quality. Hell, I think the split cable is a micrometer thinner and hangs better than the stock cable. Depending on how much cable length you need, and whether or not the inline controls annoy you on your stock cable, you might call this an upgrade. Now onto why I bought it. FOR MODDING —————————— I have a Hart Audio cable for my HD6XX with 3.5mm unbalanced (3-pole) and 4.4mm balanced Pentaconn (4-pole) interconnects. I wanted one for my Noirs, but nothing fits except those super slim Meze 99 connectors. I *could* have bought the connectors here from Meze for $20, but you need special tools to seal it; so I thought I’d take a chance on the $20 cable, thinking they might use the exact same cable for their unbalanced as their balanced ($49), just with a different end connector. Woohoo! I was right. I cut the cable to the length I wanted and proceeded with the meticulous soldering! (PRO TIP: check the leads with a multimeter before and after terminating, or assume green is L+, green stripe is L-, red is R+, and red stripe is R-.) SUCCESS! Pictured is the final result. If you are confident in your soldering skills and need a balanced cable for your 99s, modding this cable is something to consider; having said that, if what you need specifically is 2.5mm, save yourself the headache and just buy the Meze cable for $49.

Excellence cable overall
I ordered this cable for my Hifiman Sundaras and was pleased to discover it works. It is much higher quality than the original Sundara cable and works great. My only complaint is that the cable holds its form from being folded up in transit.

Has to be one the best values in headphone cables
Great cable flexibility, strong secure connection into the headphones themselves. Nice aesthetics and cable sounds no different than the original cable that came with the hifiman edition xs. This cable is easy to route and manage. I'm surprised it doesn't cost more. Meze, you are a great for producing such a fine cable at a low price. Would definitely buy again, this will be my goto replacement cable for all compatible headphones.

Great cable for the price
Purchased this cable as a replacement for my Focal Elegias (perfect fit, btw) and this is absolutely a fantastic cable. I noticed zero microphonics with it, on top of which this is extremely flexible and has no "jank" to it. This cable is a bit long for my use (3m) so I may wind up returning this for the 1.5m variant. That is personal preference so I'm not deducting any stars, I'm rating the cable itself today which leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. If Meze made cables for different headphones I would buy them all in a heartbeat, as this is definitely one of the nicest cables I've owned.

Decent build but poor microphonics for the first 2 feet
The build is fine with the dual 3.5mm down to the split being rubber coated, then the rest until the 3.5mm termination being a standard braid. However, the whole rubber portion and the first few inches of the braided portion of the cable has some very easily noticeable microphonics, which is when you can hear things rubbing against the cable through the headphones. I tested it with a Focal Elegia and a modded Grado SR80 with dual 3.5mm and both had the microphonics issue. Otherwise, the sound from the cable is fine.

Plug and play, no hassle at all.
I bought two separate interesting record player looking speakers and was planning on using them as left and right channels. They both came with Bluetooth and 3.5mm jack. I tried to connect them both to one PC with Bluetooth and make them work together at same time with separate channels, and messed around with stereo mixer and voicemeeter, after a whole week of confusion, I decided to just go classic wire connection. And believe me, this worked beautifully, also plug and play.

much needed addition
same quality as the shorter supplied cable. the longer length is perfect for use at home.

I got this cable for my HiFiMan Arya Stealth headphones because I needed a longer cable, and it works absolutely perfectly. Just because it's from Meze Audio doesn't mean it only works with Meze products- always check your user manual or product specifications to ensure compatibility with your specific headphones. This cable has a premium feel, the perfect length for my setup, and a great aesthetic. It performs fantastically, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-quality upgrade.

I wasn't sure what to expect given the variations in the reviews. So here is what I discovered and got. First I don't believe cables change sound. I was wrong about this once when I changed all the cables in my primary stereo system from Kimber Kable Select to Cardas Golden Reference. Everyone agreed including me the the sound changed for the better top to bottom - especially in the frequency spectrum. I was wrong and glad of it since this was very expensive. Now to the thin Meze 10 foot cable I just bought and listened to. Compared to the stock Denon Cable AH-D5200 it was night and day. The Meze cable opened up the sound and took off a veil I didn't know was on the stock good cable - same length and much sturdier. the Meze Cable didn't look that sturdy but I ran over it twice with my office chair by accident and no problem. Who knew. It seems very well made. It is clearly well made and the terminations are beautiful and practical. And it is NOT microphonic - no way no how - I tried all the standard stuff and some other tricks and could get not get any microphonics out of it. Great cable for the money. I recommend it if you need a long cable. I cannot comment on shorter lengths!
