Prints extremely well.
Printed perfectly. Didn't have to adjust any settings. Printed a 210/60.No stringing with only 2mm retraction.Bed adhesion was flawless even with detailed first layers.Very strong prints.

Ziro has become my favorite filament on Amazon.
This filament is just what I was looking for. Needed a nice red to add to my collection.

Real disappointment...
I have attempted to use this filament on 3 projects and had the same results on each. The adhesion is terrible no matter what I do, I did complete one with this yellow filament. It was beginning to warp from the start, I figured I would let it go just to see what happened. Yeas, the bed was level and clean, as was the hot end. As I said, the adhesion was terrible, the filament was very stringy and, to use a technical term...it was very globby. I used a different brand and had no issues what so ever. I do have a spool that I haven't tried yet, wish me luck. By the way the one that fails was right out of the vacuum sealed bag.

Quickly becoming a favorite
I’ve been looking for a replacement for my favorite filament brand because of consistent supply chain issues and I think I’ve found my new favorite brand in Ziro. Great products, quick shipping, and I love the extras they send with each shipment.

Works well, good print quality
A friend tried multiple colors successfully so I tried the black. So far, so good!

Have used multiple rolls, one bad roll, warranty honored.
The only PLA brand I have used has been ZIRO, since I got my 3D printer a few years ago. They were on the value side of what was available at the time ( < $20, price since has gone up 25% and more, then fluctuated). Figured I would try it, and it did very well for my intermittent printing of various small parts and accessories. So, I have ordered more, used six spools, primarily black & red, some green and yellow.Because of the good results and good value, I have recommended it to others and given it a favorable 5 star review on AMZ.That was until I got a bad roll.[Update/Edit 2020/02/15]Long story short. I had a bad roll of black filament. Ordered it as a spare over the summer '20. Started using it in December. Fresh out of the box & bag, snags, cleared, snagged again. 3D printer made horrible mechanical noise. I was lucky nothing broke. Contacted ZIRO via email, alerting them about my issue. They requested I removed a few more meters of filament and try again. Tried that again. Not an hour later, same thing. So, I replied back, including photos, showing the entanglements & visual suspect areas issues towards the center of the roll. Included my order history from AMZ and the specific order for said roll. They acknowledged the issue. Said they had taken steps in manufacturing to prevent this, asked me to unwind more and offered me a half refund for the roll through Amazon. Now, I personally did not think that that is exactly fair, as imho they should refund or replace the entire roll. This happened out of the box with a spare roll, zero user error or mishandling on my part. (if it happens in the first five min, and is a soft snag, after mounting the roll, sure I agree user error) Time passed. Needed to print more black. Contacted ZIRO again to follow up.They did come through and issued a refund, which I received. So, I consider the matter resolved and will bump the rating back up to 4.

Plastic Is more brittle then basic PLA, and burns.
Okay so great for the price, has a really good look to it when it's done printing, I made three components for a project I was working on and they all came out great, basically invisible layer lines and I was using a 1mm nozzle cause I wanted speed, under extruded one and over extruded the other and they both still came out great, but it comes with down sides, you can't push it to fast, and you can't have a sharp extruder gear, I ended up grinding filament a couple of times trying to figure this stuff out, it's really brittle and sheers like a champ. Also it has a really bad burning smell, and smokes a bit, I'm printing at 220 and it's pretty smoky. Real big turn off for me cause I don't have a very well ventilated room for this but if you do I would definitely recommend it.

Waste of 16 quid (grey)
I have been printing quite happily with Geeetech filaments which are comparable in cost. The Ziro grey pla filament in contrast is absolute rubbish. It came vacuum packed and all looked good. The spool winding however is awful looked like someone had would it the morning after going out on the town. but the worst part is that I simply cannot use the filamen at all for any prints.. I am using a genuine E3D Titan Extruder and V6 hotend and have put a new nozzle in and no matter what temperatures / feedrates I try for this filament it blocks, its stringy and just will not exit the nozzle cleanly and thus will not adhere. I must have tried at least a dozen times, each time I switch back to another filament and the printer works beautifully. I have another spool of Ziro, black which I will try however the remaining 300 odd metres of this will be going in the bin, very disapointed and will not buy this brand again.Update: I have now had a chance to try the black filament. Again it was very well packaged and sealed and came with the resealable bag. The winding on the black spool was better than the grey. I found the bed adhesion and extrusion to be marginally better on the black but still could not actually get past the first few layers. It may well be that the filament requires a higher temp as some others have suggested however I tried from 190C up to 220C on the hot end as the sticker on the side says and had little success. Overall, really not impressed with the brand, maybe I just had a couple bad rolls as other reviews are mixed however from personal experience I wont be buying this again.

Perfect filament to print with
I am slowly changing all my filament from the various brands I currently have to just the Ziro brand. I have around 40 rolls of filament currently of which 15 are Ziro, the rest will be replaced with Ziro as they run out. I have found them to be an excellent brand and all their filaments are spooled neatly with no tangles, its dimensionally accurate, very cheap for the quality and prints look awesome. They also give you a couple of extras in the Box (which no other brand does). You get a high quality ziploc type foil bag and silica gel satchets to keep your filament in once it's been opened, you also get a 5m length of a random filament type/colour to try and a 5m length of nozzle cleaning filament which does a great job. All in all Ziro filaments are brilliant, give them a try, you won't regret it. Check out my TT videos and you will see it in use @Aspie_Geek_UK

Hit and miss with Ziro
Got 3 rolls of Ziro filament: green, yellow and orange. Yellow is actually quite alright and can't fault it. This is where it goes downhill. Orange is ok but a bit brittle. Green - will never buy it again and because if it, will try to avoid the brand. Other people also report similar stories where some colours are good but others not so much.So green is horrible, mentioned that already. It did clog the nozzle twice. Not had a single clog in 2 years of printing and I (we) print a lot as my wife has a small business that uses 3d prints i.e. we used those 3 rolls in 2 weeks. So yeah, 2 years no clogs and now 2 just on a single roll (more like 2/3) of this thing.Looks like there might perhaps be a cleaning agent/plastic mixed into the filament as it had a way lower melting temp. That on top of other irregularities. On the first clog, I tried to force the filament through by hand and eventually it did go a bit. Basically, it squirted out like it was water and quickly solidified again. Never seen anything like it. The second time it happened again but it was preceded by a lot of oozing goo again and then the extruder gear started slipping due to clogging.Thankfully green was for batches of small parts printed one by one. Not much loss in this case apart from a little bit of time and effort. Would be a different story on a complex multi-day print, can just imagine the frustration of some much time being wasted. As mentioned, not had major issues with the orange and yellow one seems quite ok. However, it seems to be pot luck and therefore can't recommend it. There are a lot of other brands that offer better consistency for the same price. Only bought Ziro as the one I always buy were all out of stock at that moment but had to fulfil a customer order. Will not buy again unless absolutely have to.

Looks amazing, but clogs like no other
I LOVE the look of this filament, unfortunately it regularly clogs. You basically have to do a cold-pull and clean after every print to avoid clogging the nozzle, and regularly 8-10 hour prints fail... It's too much hassle to deal with, so I can't recommend buying this unless you're specfically using larger nozzle sizes.

Wow, what a great brand!
Yeaaaaah, it's PLA, who cares really, I suppose - But because it's all the same it comes down to after sales support and what you get in the box at this point, so they get 6 out of 5 stars for that! Two free 5 meter spools of random filament (That's about enough to do two 30x30x30mm test cubes by the way) and a separate (as in not the bag it comes packed in!) zip-lock bag.Ziro just earned a bit of brand loyalty with me, I'll definitely order from them again when I need more. And I already do! Because I printed with the test 5m and thought it looked great so bought a 1kg spool of it! Being nice earns you more custom, take note other brands!
