An Epic Masterpiece, with a catch.
If you are a practicing pharmacist or a student, this is our bible. Every field has one and this is ours. It is simply epic in scope; however, the printed textbook version isn't the entire story. For those of you who purchased this thinking you are getting a comprehensive textbook you are wrong. You need to get access to the online site (Access Pharmacy) which not only has the "e chapters" that aren't in the printed book, but also the self-assessment questions and answers. When you analyze this complete work in all its glory via the website, there are 167 chapters with a total page count of 6636 pages! You read that right, 6636 pages! I have emailed McGraw Hill numerous suggestions including the publishing of this important text as a three-volume set. The reason we purchased a printed copy is because we didn't want to go online in the first place. In any event, if you contact McGraw Hill they will make things right and get you access to the website so you can download/print the chapters and questions/answers that are not in the printed book. I hope in the future they consider publishing this the correct way as a three-volume set.

Mucho contenido electrónico por pagar
La mitad de capítulos son electrónicos y de acceso costoso.

The greatest pharm book
This book is the holy grail of pharmacy. I would highly recommend it. A couple of downsides: is it 2000 pages and quite large and heavy. I personally keep mine at my work and only take it for school when I absolutely have to. One thing I don’t really like about this book is that not every chapter is included in the book. Some chapters you will turn to the page and it says to read this chapter Please go online, so you go online and they want $500 a year to be able to read the missing chapters of the book. This was quite a shock when I saw this and I am disappointed in this. If I were you, I would buy a couple editions older, and save yourself a headache, and have access to all of the chapters.

Needs subscription for access to full book.
Book chapters give lots of helpful information and diagrams. However, there are 55 chapters in the printed book that are e-chapters. This requires a subscription though your school, OR (for individuals) a cost of just under $600/year. Why don't they provide ALL the information and split the text into 2 volumes? Probably won't repurchase again...there are other texts out there that are complete.
