Olive Leaf Extract

Edit UPDATE: The following review was written for the COMBINATION package which included 90 servings of Citrus Bergamot, 120 servings of both Grape Seed Extract and Olive leaf. The results portion of the review references only the use of Bergamot others added at 7 months use and not yet evaluated for results. ~ ~ All three products have long expiration dates, 1-2 years, and valuable quality certifications on the labels. ~ ~ I have now been taking the Bergamot product for about 7 months. At 4 months I had a lipid panel completed and improved - lowered the bad LDL cholesterol by approximately 10 points. I expect the next one will be better because the first months I was not taking the suggested extra oat fiber that is needed to help pull the fats out of our system. ~ The capsules are medium size so easy to take and have no after taste. I knew from the first few days that I was experiencing some positive results since daily gut routine became stable. No other side effects. ~ I first tried the better-known Red Yeast Rice with the oat fiber protocol, and it too lowered by Blood LDL, but it caused an uncomfortable sensation in my bowels. Since I tend to medication sensitive, I am trying to avoid statin meds, and the RR Yeast is the source of one of the older statins so not too surprised that I had a moderate issue.

I ordered this based on the natural capsule ingredients. Some may say they taste the bitterness but I just quickly swallow mine so it doesn't bother me. It definitely has an appetite suppressing effect as I take one at lunch and I don't feel the urge to snack or eat until dinner. I also felt I was able to concentrate better (increased mental acuity) after taking (it doesn't keep you awake as I took one at dinner and was able to fall asleep without any issues). I can't talk to the constipating effect some have mentioned with taking this type of supplement, as I normally drink lots of water during the day to stay hydrated.

It’s a very decent choice. I usually buy the Toniq brand but it was out of stock. I purchased this one as a substitute because of the % of oleuropein claimed on the bottle. The % may very well be accurate but I’ll go back to the Toniq brand on my next purchase. That doesn’t mean that this one is bad or not effective. I just saw a better results with the other brand. If it was out of stock again, I’d probably roll the dice looking for another “back-up” but also would be willing to repurchase this brand...

Amazing I take it every day

I have Long Haulers from Covid 19 and had the other strains too. It took about 24 hours for my heart racing and irregular beating to become normal I also noticed also that my anxiety, from covid, had gone from a 9 to a 0. I had been seen by a heart Dr. with All the tests and a 1-month monitor with no conclusions. I think this Olive leaf is a miracle and can't believe I stumbled upon it. It has a little taste to it but goes away fast and is so worth it. ALSO FOR THOSE WHO SAY THAT THE CAPSULES BECOME VERY HARD AND TURN DARK, THEY BECOME THAT WAY WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BOTTLE WITH THE LITTLE MOISTURE PACK INSIDE. I NOTICED THIS WHEN I WENT ON VACATION AND FILLED OUT MY PILL ORGANIZER EVERY ONE OF THEM GOT HARD AND DARK. THE ONES IN THE BOTTLE WHICH I TOOK ALONG ALSO, STAYED SOFT AND FRESH. GREAT PRODUCT!

I needed a super high dosage for my husbands case of shingles. He never said anything, so we were well past the time frame that the antivirals would even work, if they actually would work in the first place. Where to find a high enough dosage, with decent ingredients, in a fast time frame was not easy until I found these. These were perfect and worked along with other supplements to rid him of shingles before they could become chronic. While waiting he had to take a ton of lower dosage to even equal the proper dosage for this particular healing to occur. Happy to say I will refer others to this when a much higher dosage is needed for a particular health issue. Olive leaf in many forms have been so helpful in our family. The main thing in this was getting the 20% oleuropein. Non GMO also important. I kind of want to knock off a star, but that would only be due to the method of delivery from amazon. A friend told me an amazon truck had crashed on a local road when the driver fell asleep. I joked that my olive leaf that we needed quickly was probably on that truck. A while later, sure enough, it was. Of course, amazon didn't tell me that, it took time to get it al figured out, and even amazon had no idea what to do it seemed, as the tracking messages it gave me changed every five minutes. It changed cities even of where it would be going. In the end, instead of taking it locally where it was supposed to be, they took it clear back to a distribution center, where we know it was repackaged, then reshipped again. Amazon needs to pay attention to who they contract out or make sure their drivers get some rest. At least they did react quickly on it though, and were able to save this product from having to start all over with the order. Item did arrive in perfect condition, and a sniff test we detected no smoke odor. Hope the driver is okay. They all work hard.

This was okay, but I don't feel like it works as well as the liquid Barleans.

This is an American company & it manufactures it's products in the US. Many supplement companies are not/do not, including Naturebell. I've ordered this brand of olive leaf before but I was looking for smthg comparable but cheaper -almost went w Naturebell (until I looked them up -based in China). It's not all that expensive really, I'll just stick w Naravis.
