Nordic WareTombstone Cakelet Pan

Bought this and skull cake forms for my granddaughters at Halloween. They were delighted with them. Almost better treat than chocolate!These may be more expensive than similar pans but the quality is excellent— heavy-duty & will last for years. I have had Nordic mini-Bundt pans for over a decade that bake evenly & still look like new. These are similar weight, leading to a consistently good bake.

It’s Nordic Ware. What more do you need to know? Make sure you oil and flour prior to using and everything comes out beautifully.

I greased the pan and then the Brownies were done I let the pan col down for about 30 minutes. The brownies came out perfect and the pan came out clean, no mess. I love the detail of each gravestone. I sprinkled some powdered sugar over them to bring out the detail. They stand up on their own so they make a wonderful dessert display for or any Halloween table.

Quality product. A little labor intensive to use but once you get the hang of it it was really fun. My son and his wife and I made them for their adult halloween party and people "raved about them" (taste wise and the look) according to them. I would definitely make them again. The only recommendation I would have after making these is that you definitely don't need as much pastry as it says in the recipes on line. Otherwise there's just too much dough. Also be sure to butter the mold before each bake with a pastry brush. We also buttered the tops a little after they were out of the oven.

This pan is so amazing. It's got such a nice feel, good and sturdy. Easy to use, and we used Crisco and flour and everything came out perfectly. I am in love! We made blueberry muffins first. It has a huge capacity (used two of the bag mixes) but the detail was spectacular and the pan cleaned up so easily.

Like most NordicWare items, this is awesome! I made chocolate cake to fill the tombstones; they came out perfectly! Well, almost; as with most ‘figural’ cake pans, some corners, ridges, spaces somehow get missed when greasing the pan. However, any ‘mistakes’ were easily fixed by decoration.

This is the 3rd baking pan I've bought from Nordic Ware. Yes, all Halloween themed bake ware. So far, I have no complaints at all! I'm a very happy man. 20 years ago things like this were only novelty, if it worked the one time, you were lucky! So imagine my surprise at the durability of this bake ware! They are so easy to clean, there's no need to even ask if they are dishwasher safe (although the are.) You can simply quickly hand wash them as easy as rinsing them to put in the dishwasher. So far I've only made pizza puffs a few times but the shape is awesomely fun. All of my friends have asked how I did it. So many possibilities of things to make using these pans!
