Super, not tiny 2 1/4"x 2 3/4" large display
These were larger than expected, not tiny button sized things. What a great deal for the price and the display is large and easy to see and very easy to use, it even has a battery saving off switch, highly recommended it you can use a lot of timers. (Coaches might really like these.)

Not multiple hours count down
The media could not be loaded. Easy of use. Beware, these are not multiple hours timers. Up to 99 minutes only. Great for counting down minutes.

Great, Robust, Loud, Big Numbers, Big Buttons... (slightly) Weak Magnet
These little timers are great!I have been trying to do things to help myself to keep on task and be more productive. One trick I've tried is to use a timer to do unpleasant tasks. One task I really hate is washing the dishes. Yes, it has to be done, but I hate it.First, I tried setting timer on my phone for, say, 10 minutes. I told myself "I can do ANYTHING for ten minutes!" This works, but the problem is that, somehow, I don't associate the multi-function phone with doing work. I just don't remember to set the timer. So then I thought "Let me get an external timer to see if this helps."It did! Surprisingly, having a stand-alone timer makes all the difference. It must be psychological--- just seeing the timer sitting there motivates me to start work. I learned I can get a heck of a lot done in ten minutes!Originally, I bought a different brand timer. It worked fine for a while, but then it got hard to press the buttons and it started acting weird--- like just deciding to stop timing something whenever it felt like it. (I burned my dinner once because of it.) So, then I bought these timers. I like them a lot!As you can see in the picture, the timers are fat and chunky--- big buttons, very big numbers, easy to press the buttons, nice bright colors. There is a little stand on the back so you can stand them up if you're at a table. Unlike other timers, they have an on/off button to save on battery life. Every time you press a button, there is a loud "beep." I personally like this feature. (Other people seem to hate it.). You can count how many minutes you are setting by listening without having to look at the timer. When the timer goes off, it beeps for a while-- LOUD! I like this. You can hear it from another room. Like if you're cooking something, you can hear it go off in the kitchen. I didn't have any "duds" in the box I bought. They all work.I oringally bought two of these from another vendor before I bought the 12-pack. The one small negative I would say about these timers is the the magnets are weak. Compared to the apparently identical timers I bought from another vendor, this 12-pack has thinner magnets on the back. Like, you can see the magnet is thinner. Practically speaking, this means they BARELY stay on the fridge. The magnets are JUST strong enough to hold the timer on the fridge... but if you knock the timer, it will go sliding down the fridge. Since I mostly use the timers in other locations and don't use the magnet, this is not a deal-breaker for me. I mean, they DO stay on the fridge if you don't knock them. But... if the manufacturer is reading these: You need to up your magnet game!Anyway, these little timers have made a positive effect on my life... so much so that I took 15 minutes out of my day to write a review for them! (I've given them as gifts, and they have really helped the people I've given them to as well.).Give 'em a try!UPDATE 2024The timers work great-- as I just explained--- until they DON'T. Within a year and a half, almost all of these timers have fatal flaws. Some of them will just auto-reset to 0 minutes at the slightest touch. Some of them the digital readout just stopped working. Some of them work OK, but the sound of the alarm is so faint now that you can't hear it in the next room. Some will still beep, but with this weird, disturbing sound link a dying animal. Some just flat out won't work at all. So, in summary: The design of the timers is great, but the quality control is extremely poor. I think I'm going to have to spent extra money now buying more robust and well-made timers.

Only does minutes and seconds, magnets not strong enough
This timer only records minutes and seconds up to 99 minutes - don't purchase if you need it for hour purposes. Also, the magnet is not quite strong enough to hold the timer on a fridge. It slowly slides downward.
