Awesome tool! Follow advice on squeezing tip ends.
This tool works just as advertised if you follow the instructions and the tips in these reviews to "squeez the tool tip fingers together a bit". This prevents the problem of the valve getting stuck in the tool.It fixed a leak problem I have had for years in one of my A/C units and I did not need to remove the coolant!Take your time, read the instructions and recommendations before use, and practice the sequence of steps a few times in a dry run. If you do this, valve replacement is simple and quick.Tool is surprisingly good quality for the price point. Valves and caps are also good quality.Saved me a ton of money on a service call!

DIY AC Job
With the crazy economy we find ourselves, my son and I ended up doing our own AC repair. We replaced our A-Coil and outside condenser unit with all the filters, fittings, etc. We also decided to use the solder with flux method as opposed to the silver rod brazing method. We were successful just before the hot muggy weather overtook our part of the country. Our system continues to work well and these valve core remover was a required component to do both the pressure test and vacuum test before we charged our system.

Very nice for cheap price and medium quality
Not a bad price for the tool. It’s no yellow jacket or aprion. Feels cheaply made but held really good pressure, No leaks anywhere even after being used more then 10 or so times. I mainly use this to speed up recovery times so don’t care if it gets messed up.

used it to replaced bent core valve in my home ac , cant go wrong as long as you follow the instructions, a little bit of common sense and some youtube videos for successful DIY. "wear gloves just in case"
