One of the best nature movies ever made !
Yesterday we watched the original movie (English) which I imported from USA in HD quality in our home cinema. In IMDb it is rated on average 7,2 from about 19 hundred people so far. We rated it with a maximum 10 rating and for us it is one of the best animal and nature documentation ever produced. Beautiful pictures with a matching sound and a narration on the point. This documentation is perfectly showing the beauty of nature on our planet (here only in China), but also the fight between predators and prey in order protect life some have to take life. Also showing the values of a family. We recommend to watch this picture, if you have a chance.Congratulations to all people who had take part to produce this pictures, we are sure this was not an easy job.

Great feel good movie!
These Disney Nature films went down to $4.99 on Amazon Prime!! Couldn't help but buy them, I probably own half the movies on the Disney app so since they raised their price a dollar a month figured I'd buy instead of paying for subscription..maybe will start up a month when Mandalorin and Captain America and Winter Soldier come back on. These nature films are great tho and I can watch them over and over!!

I saw this in theaters the week it came out and loved it! I'm a huge fan of Disneynature and the dedication it takes to make these films. This is my new favorite (second to Monkey Kingdom). I've read other reviews from parents who said it wasn't kid friendly, and I will say if your kids are very young or get upset about dead animals, this probably isn't for them. There are a handful of predictor and prey scenes in this film, which can be upsetting to watch. I ordered this as soon as I realized it was out. The behind the scenes stuff is always cool to watch and see how hard the filmmakers worked to bring us this amazing intimate footage of these animals.

Exquisite film for all who respect and love wildlife and the nature of this world
Exquisite film for all who respect and love wildlife and the nature of this world. Funny, sad, fascinating to see how animals have abilities and communications that most humans consider to be reserved only for themselves. Before we destroy the beauty and magic of this world we should remember that the wild places and wild animals were here first. We need them for our sanity and to make us better human beings. The wild deserves our respect and our protection. Life without the wild places and animals would make this an empty and poor rock to live in.

Awe-inspiring epic journey!
What a darling heart-warming movie that the whole family can enjoy together. They had four different "animal" family groups depicted in the film and not only were the animals too cute for words, but the rare hard-to-get-to (by most humans) China landscape will take your breath away. The narrator did a great job as well and made us laugh. One very sad portion, though, having to do with one of the animals dying, so if you are super sensitive to that (and I am, I cried), then just be aware -- but that is a small moment in an overall wonderful nature pictorial.

Will Be Buying More of These
My 3 1/2 year old daughter liked it. As an adult, I liked it, but it got a little to corny when the narrator tried to say what some of the animals may have been thinking. The story starts in Spring and progresses through the seasons (Summer, Fall, and Winter). It has a circle of life them to it. There is a story for the snow leopard, a monkey, the panda, and the chiru. There is brief fighting among some animals. There are two or three scenes where an animal gets it's prey or is eating it's prey. The story never shows the prey actually being killed. It is not gruesome in any way. Very young viewers may or may not realize the snow leopard dies in the end. Other viewers providing the movie less stars describe the last 5-10 minutes rather well with the snow leopard doing anything to get food, but I didn't think this was scary or traumatizing to my daughter (3 1/2 year old). And older children will complete understand this is how nature works.

Great documentary, my kids loved it!
Simply a wonderful movie. Honest about the realities of nature while being gentle about it. The pandas alone are worth it, my kids loved the movie.Spoilers:Please note that an animal does die due to a series of unfortunate natural problems. It's handled with great care and isn't graphic, but that does happen, and it may be difficult for some viewers (if they understand what happened, like I said they're very gentle about it.)

Great Nature Film, but very sad ending to the Snow Leopard story.
Photography, story lines, etc. was all GREAT! Spoiler Alert: The only bad part was that the Mommy Snow Leopard is pushed off her territory, then cuts her foot on a rock hidden in the snow, and finally killed by a buffalo (at around 20-25 minutes from the end of the movie). So if you don't like sad things, stop watching after the Monkey is a hero for saving his little sister.

Captivating Scenery!
Beautiful scenery but I found the Disney movie aspect to be somewhat unwanted in a documentary... otherwise it's lovely to engage.
