Slight learning curve, but glad I purchased.
TIVOLI Meat Cleaver Knife, Hand Forged Full Tang Butcher knife for Meat Cutting, High CarbonWas not really looking for this cleaver style of knife at the time, but really liked the curvature for rocking cuts and liked higher carbon. I ended up buying one for myself and my neighbor for Christmas. She is a chef and was very happy.I will say there is a learning curve to maximize its use. It is thick blade and can get heavy if only holding by the handle. I go back and forth between handle and using the finger hole for more finer work.Rocking and forward push cuts are easy and fun to use -curvature is great. Chopped veggies you will appreciate the extra weight, just watch your fingers. I don't think it will be as forgiving as a normal kitchen knife and you might have extra protein in your meal that night along with hospital bill.The blade is thick so fine slicing of onion or tomato requires just the slightest sideward cant. Not much but noticeable once you see/feel the cuts. The sharp pointed tip comes in handy now and then.Does wonders on meat products, unless again trying to do thin slices you might need that slight side cant. Although for me it does not completely replace my regular straight clever, but it does have quite a few uses that the cleaver can't do very well.With so much carbon it does need to be washed and dried shortly after use. Though I have not seen any sign of rust yet. I keep a little eyedrop bottle with some mineral oil on window sill and spread a few drops to each side with my finger before I put it back in sheath. I also saturated inside of sheath with mineral oil.Best attribute is that I literally have fun using this knife and learning it. My neighbor chef said the same thing and that this configuration type was not taught at her culinary school but has some potential technique to be explored.We are very happy with purchase.

Excellent Knife!
Awesome looking, versatile, and comfortable. I use it primarily for meats, works great for prepping or carving thick steaks, venison, and whole chickens, but also very practical for large veggiesThe handle is perfectly aligned, so there are no sharp or uncomfortable edges where there shouldn't be, which I can't say for all of their knives. This one also looks amazing displayed on a magnet board when not in use. Pleased with this purchase.

Feather knife
Item as described.. great built and design for longevity and sophistication with great functionality. Easy to handle built to last. Just bought a Teak cutting board to go along with this.

Great Knife
I ordered this knife because I wanted a cool looking chef knife to cut all my smoked meats with and it delivered. It came razor sharp out of the box. The weight is perfect. It definitely looks cool. I recommend this knife for anyone.
