Works great u do have to do adjustment but not to hard. this will not fix your electrical choke on your yj jeep but is easy to put a manual choke Cable on.

Fit perfect very little adjustment needed

Bolted right up to a 1988 jeep Wrangler, 4.2 L AMC 258 without any adapter plates. I did not have a stock air filter so I purchased an Edelbrock 1208 with an adapter plate made by Mr. gasket part 6411G. I did have to pick up a. 1/4 20 coupling nut to extend the riser bolt to reach the air cleaner wing nut. The Jeep started right up on the first try and I also tried it at 30° outside and the choke work perfectly. You will have to push the gas pedal all the way down with the ignition on to activate the choke before trying to start the vehicle.

Works good so far choke was way out of adjustment but after fixing that problem it ran good

Throttle connection ball is on the wrong side for Jeep CJ but easy to drill out and flip. Electric choke is new for my car but it was easy to wire up and works better than old thermal choke. Good upgrade for older CJs.

I think I paid like $80 for this carburetor, I bolted it on and my old jeep ran perfect, automatic choke is easy to adjust, would definitely purchase again

I put this on a 1970 CJ5 v6. I filled the exhaust crossover with high temp epoxy then removed the choke and made manual work. modified throttle linkage. It runs smooth at all engine speeds. Not much adjustment needed. for the price could not be happier. found mods very easy, but I do work metal
