Great read. Love the humor and relationships with all the players resolving all the questions necessary to find the killer. This one had some great twists…

I enjoyed reading this book, even though I'm more of a thriller junkie and don't usually read romantic mysteries. It was well written and the characters were very likable. I also liked the setting, Orcas Island sounds like someplace I'd love to live, despite the need for ferry transport on and off-island if you want to bring your car.Although it is about the inherently disturbing subject of murder, the book is almost entirely chaste and has only rare, mild profanity, so even young adults should enjoy it. I got a special kick out of Grandpa Tobias, however. I hope I'll be as active at 79. I laughed at some of the proposed names for the wedding band. It was a fun read.

I just finished this last of 3 series & was so thrilled to read books that are not saturated with foul language & blatant sexual descriptions. If you write a good story you do not need those things! I feel your stories offer down to earth real characters and plots with many twists & turns that keep the reader on edge from beginning to end Thank you but wish you had more of the story from the San Juan Islands . Love those characters!

I had forgotten how much I liked this crime-solving duo! Tish and grandfather Tobias are funny, insightful, and amazingly competent investigators. And Tish finally has her first wedding in her new venue/planning business. Best news ever when she and Nash make verbal commitments to each other and make their relationship known. So much to enjoy in this third book of the series!I hope the next book is already in the works, because I don't want to have to wait very long to figure out what the end of the book really means! I am hooked on this terrific series!

I have read the series, and enjoyed them. Good stories, good characters, good plot, interaction with all characters was done smoothly and plot had enough twist to keep you from putting the book down. Will there be a book number 4?

The spark has good writing with a natural flow, a good plot although I did gas right at the beginning who is committed the murder. I liked all the quirky characters. What I didn't like was the ending and this has sort of colored my view of the book. The main character make the promise and immediately the book ends with her breaking that promise which can have huge consequences for the other characters. Overall though this was a good book and I will likely read the next book in the series to see how it plays out. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
