LEDERA MR16 GU5.3 LED Bulbs, 5W(50W Halogen Equivalent), 3000K Warm White, DC/AC12V, 6-Pack

I bought these to replace some GU5.3 halogen spots that I was tired of replacing all the time in a track lighting style fixture in my home. I do have some thoughts I’d like to share about them:First, the good: They are inexpensive! For $20 I was able to get six bulbs delivered to my home with free same day shipping. Not bad! And because they are LED, hopefully they will last longer than the halogens they are replacing. Also, they only consume 5W each, which is a huge improvement. The beam speed and quality of light is great, with no hot spots or unevenness that I can see. They illuminate my photos well and I like the color of the light.The bad: They buzz. It’s noticeable. It doesn’t bother me that much but it is something I should mention. Also, one of the bulbs flickered and buzzed really badly after it warmed up, and caused all the other bulbs to flicker. I swapped it out and the problem went away, so it definitely seemed to be a problem with that bulb. My guess is this one slipped thru quality control. Lastly, I don’t think they’re really as bright as a 50W halogen like it mentions in the item description. Maybe more like 20W equivalent. It’s fine for my purposes, but if you’re switching out 50W bulbs for these LEDs, note that these will probably seem dimmer.

These are the best of the lot of the LED's I have ordered to replace halogen bulbs. So far (I have just ordered some more) each one has worked out of the box and is size compatible with the halogen MR16 it replaces. They are nice and bright and good color. Unfortunately, they are not dimmable but are great in my constant locations. I wish they made one that is dimmable as these are the only ones I've found to be a fairly exact fit (size wise) for the halogen MR16.

I wanted to replace an mr16 halogen bulb in our Kitchenaid hood with LEDs. Tried 3 bulbs that didn't physically fit, all being either too long or too bulbous. The Ledera bulbs fit perfectly and, being all glass, looked identical to the halogens (avoiding white ceramic against the stainless hood). The light has a great spread, lighting the entire cook top with no dead spots, and being a clean white light. The bulbs run slightly warm but not hot like the halogens.I couldn't be happier. The only question I have is how long they'll last.

Most of the MR16 GU5.3 LEDs that I found at warehouse stores and online are larger than the traditional MR16 halogen ones. The common problem is the length of the bulb - it's varied by different manufacturers. Ledera MR16 is the only one that I could use on my kitchen hood and close the light cover.I give 4 stars because one of the 6 bulbs in the package is bad - no light.

Would buy again. Nothing bad here so far.You have to be careful with some bulbs as MR16 fixtures do not adjust for slightly larger (taller) bulbs common with LED bulbs for standard MR16 halogen fitments.These fit landscape malibu's perfectly - as in "tight" but the cap fits.

This is a much better solution than buying expensive kitchler fixtures. These lasted about 2yrs and are replaceable! Inexpensive bright solution to reduce electricity and last much longer than halogen

I replaced my old 50W halogen bulbs with this MR 16 LED bulbs, and they worked great more than expected. They have the same light color as the halogen ones, and the warm white looks great and comfortable to eyes. Reasonable price for high quality led bulbs with excellent performance. These led bulbs do not heat up like incandescent bulbs, and they only needs 5 watts, definitely a long-term choice for home lighting. Would love to recommend LEDERA led bulbs to my friends!

These lightbulbs are no longer working already! Thank goodness it has a 3 year warranty...Previous review:Its outside is made of a glass-like substance! Very durable. Purchased this for outdoor lighting and needed something long-lasting as the other MR16 lightbulbs I've purchased from amazon all broke within 3 months. Will update if this one does the same, but it by far has better quality as the other ones were similar price but made of plastic.
